    • PURPOSE: An intake apparatus is provided to achieve a high engine output by permitting a large amount of air to flow into the engine through the use of the air of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An intake apparatus comprises a plurality of air ducts(20,30,40,50) each of which has an end connected to an intake port of a cylinder of an engine and the other end exposed toward the front portion of the vehicle through an external air inlet hole(92) formed at a bonnet of the engine; and throttle bodies(25,35,45,55) mounted on the front ends of the air ducts and open toward the front in such a manner that the throttle bodies receive the air of the vehicle. The throttle bodies are mounted with shutters(26,36,46,56) which rotate in such a manner that the shutters adjust air flow by being interlocked with the operation of the accelerator.

    • PURPOSE: A four cycle engine is provided to improve a quality of an exhaust gas and to reduce a fuel consumption in a four cycle engine by forming a fuel supplying device by two carburetors for both intake ports and disposing the intake ports in an area branched from the intake pipe. CONSTITUTION: A four cycle engine in which an intake passage having at least two intake valves(8,9) and two intake ports are provided per cylinder(3), the intake ports are branched from a common intake pipe(13). Each of the intake ports is guided to upper sides of the intake valves(8,9), one of the two intake ports is constituted as a charge loading port(11), and the other is constituted as a volume port(12). A throttle device(21) for intake amount control is interposed in the intake passage, and the intake passage is connected with a fuel-supplying device. A fuel-supplying device is constituted of a joint carburetor(14) for both intake ports of a charge loading port and a volume port. The carburetor(14) is characterized by disposing both the intake ports in an area branched from the intake pipe(13).

    • PURPOSE: An internal combustion engine having a blow-by gas recirculation system is provided to efficiently prevent blow-by gas from being frozen over while a vehicle travels in a cold area. CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine having a blow-by gas recirculation system(S) comprises an engine body including a cylinder head having suction ports(7), and a cylinder head cover(4); fuel injection device valves(12) each arranged toward the suction ports; a suction manifold(11) installed to the side of the cylinder head; and the blow-by gas recirculation system for supplying blow-by gas introduced from the outside of the cylinder head cover to each cylinder of the engine body through a suction system. The suction manifold is bent outward to define a space between the suction manifold and the cylinder head. The blow-by gas recirculation system includes a blow-by gas line(15) extending to the suction ports from the cylinder head cover. The blow-by gas line is received in the space defined between the suction manifold and the cylinder head.
