    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing bean curd using an immersion liquid of jade, quartz porphyry and amethyst is provided, thereby extending the shelf life of bean curd and killing putrefying bacteria by far-infrared rays and an anion of minerals. CONSTITUTION: Minerals such as jade, quartz porphyry and amethyst are heated with a suitable amount of water and then allowed to stand for 10 to 24hr. A soy bean is soaked in the water prepared above for 10 to 12hr and ground into a predetermined size to give soy bean milk from which soy bean dregs are removed. The treated soy bean milk is heated, added with purified brine and then pressed to form bean curd.
