    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicular lockup clutch capable of sufficiently securing the responsiveness of the lockup clutch in a flexible start control.SOLUTION: The flexible start control for slip-engaging the lockup clutch 32 is performed when a vehicle starts moving, and before starting the flexible start control, a precharge control for establishing a standby state in which a predetermined preparation pressure is indicated to a linear solenoid valve SLU for slip control is performed. Since output oil pressure PSLU output from the linear solenoid valve SLU is increased to about the preparation pressure just before starting the flexible start control, the responsiveness of the lockup clutch 32 in the flexible start control can be sufficiently secured. Thus, the racing of an engine 28 or the like which results from response delay of hydraulic control in the flexible start control can be appropriately suppressed to improve the fuel efficiency.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pumping device or a hydraulic continuously variable transmission provided with a PTO clutch mechanism and capable of holding charge pressure into a pair of hydraulic fluid lines at fixed pressure irrespective of engagement/disengagement of the PTO clutch mechanism. SOLUTION: This pumping device is provided with a discharge line connected with a discharge port of an auxiliary pump main body by fluid, a charge line for supplying a part of pressure oil from the discharge line into the pair of respective hydraulic fluid lines through a check valve, a PTO hydraulic fluid line for supplying a part of pressure oil from the discharge line into the PTO clutch mechanism through a PTO relief valve, a pressure reducing valve whose primary side is connected with the discharge line by fluid, and a resistance valve connected with the primary side of the pressure reducing valve by fluid.
