    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body construction capable of facilitating wiring through a truck bolster and a laying process of piping without lowering rigidity and strength of the truck bolster, avoiding increase of the number of part items and complication of an underfloor structure and reducing car body manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This car body construction is constituted by passing center sills 7, 7 through the truck bolster 5, making a part where the center sills 7, 7 cross each other a through part 10 and passing the wiring and the piping (their routes) by using an inside space of the through part 10. There is the rectangular hollow space through which sufficient quantity of the wiring and the piping can be passed in the inside of the through part 10. It is possible to avoid lowering of the rigidity and the strength of the truck bolster 5 caused by such division without increasing the number of the parts such as a reinforcing member, etc. and to reduce the manufacturing cost as it is not necessary to provide a through pipe dedicated to the wiring and the piping such as the one conventionally used and no cavity is provided for the dedicated through pipe on the truck bolster 5.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify wiring and piping around a bogie in which there is no sufficient space for wiring and piping in a vehicle body structure having wiring and piping laid under the floor.SOLUTION: A bolster beam 15 is fastened to lower surfaces of side beams 11 and center beams 14 at bolt-fastening sections 56, 57 by bolts. The lower surfaces of the side beams 11 and center beams 14 are separated from each other by the same distance in the vertical direction of the vehicle body from the lower surface of an underframe 10, and a sufficient space is present between the lower surface of the underframe 10 and the upper surface of the bolster beam 15. A wiring/piping module 60 is routed through the space. By so doing, piping can be routed straight. By assembling connectors for wire connect, wiring, and piping in advance by outwork, on-site work for manufacturing the vehicle body can be minimized and by bundling wiring and piping together into a module, mounting the wiring and piping to the vehicle body can be facilitated. As a result, cost and lead time required to manufacture the vehicle body can be reduced.
