    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin melt-welding method reliably preventing the occurrence of damage caused by an excessive heat input in a region to be melt-welded. SOLUTION: In the resin melt-welding method, a laser beams L is used in which a part of a region R to be melt-welded of an annular shape having a center line CL is an irradiation region thereof, and the region R to be melt-welded is irradiated with the laser beams L while relatively rotating the region R to be melt-welded around the center line CL a plurality of times. Thereby, a part of the region R to be melt-welded is irradiated with the laser beams L intermittently and therefore such an abrupt temperature rise as to exceed a decomposition temperature of a resin member by one-time irradiation of laser beams for a part of the region R to be melt-welded can be prevented. Moreover, a cross-sectional shape of the laser beams L vertical to an optical axis OA is annular in the region R to be melt-welded and therefore the occurrence of the damage in the laser beam incident side edge part R1 of the region R to be melt-welded and the neighborhood thereof caused by an excessive heat input into the irradiation region center part of the laser beams L can be prevented.
