摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the assembling performance of a seal member and to prevent the occurrence of deficiency in sealing owing to a step difference between ports. CONSTITUTION:A gasket 20 is for a manifold of an internal combustion engine located between an intake manifold 10 and a surge tank 18. A plurality of seal members 22 located at respective ports 14 of the intake manifold 10 and a main palte 24 which is extended in the direction crossing a port axis at a right angle to intercouple the plural seal members and the thickness of which is decreased so that it is displaceable in the direction of the axis of the port are provided. Through intercoupling of the seal members 22 by means of the main plate 24, a plurality of the seal members 22 can be mounted through one action of gasket mounting, resulting in improvement of workability. Further, since the main plate 24 is displaceable in the direction of the axis of the port, a step difference in a seal position can be absorbed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent an intake air quantity from decreasing by forming each intake port being conducted to three intake valves into a simple structure, and reducing a radius of curvature in a bend in proportion as heading for the downstream of this intake port. CONSTITUTION:In a nearly central part in the longitudinal direction of an intake port 2, there is formed a recess 9 facing downward on almost the central bottom surface in the both directions. Each of circular parts 14, 15 are formed at both ends of this recess 9 and they are smoothly connected to each other. In addition, a radius of curvature in each of these circular parts 14, 15 decreases toward a downstream of the intake port 2. Since this port 2 is formed as a single passage with no separate wall in a range from an inlet opening 4 to outlet openings 5, 6, 7, it can prevent any possible increase of intake resistance in the intake port 2. Moreover, since the radius of curvature in each of these circular parts 14, 15 becomes smaller in proportion as going toward the downstream, each air flowing in a central part 11, a left part 12 and a right part 13 will not interfere with each other in and around an intake valve. Thus, such a possibility that an intake air quantity might be decreased is preventable.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve gas hitting property without damaging durability of an oxygen sensor inside an aggregation with regard to an internal combustion engine exhaust manifold composed of a plurality of exhaust pipes and aggregations. SOLUTION: When an individual downstream side end 1A of a plurality of exhaust pipes 1 is connected to an inlet side wall 2A of an aggregation case 2 having an oxygen sensor 3 mounted on its lateral, the form of the exhaust pipe 1 ends 1A is made in a bell-mounth shape for guiding exhaust gas to the oxygen sensor 3. Respective exhaust pipe 1 is preferable to be fixed to the aggregation case 2 by welding at the upper stream position than the bell-mouth shaped end 1A. In this case, the angle formed by the starting part of the curve of the bell-mouth shape of the exhaust pipe end 1A and the end part is preferable to be within the range from 45 deg. to 75 deg.. Thus because exhaust gas is wholly diffused by the bell-mouth shape and its flow velocity weaken and a part of the exhaust gas flows towards the oxygen sensor 3, exhaust gas hitting the oxygen sensor 3 is improved without deteriorating the durability of the oxygen sensor 3.
