摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a crack and to promote work efficiency by mounting the blade surfaces of roller bits crushing a buried existing pipe so that the angles in a moving direction side are acute angles with respect to the center shaft. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of chopped head conical roller bits 3 are provided on the inside of a pilot pipe 7 having a diameter larger than that of the buried existing piple so that they can rotate. Extension lines of the blade surfaces on crushing blades 8 of the roller bits 3 are so provided that the angles theta in a moving direction side are less than 90. The existing pipe 1 is crushed while rotating and revolving the roller bits 3, and a driving pipe 4 is driven forward. According to the constitution, no crack occurs in the neck section of a socket 10 of the exisiting pipe 1, and the existing pipe can be efficiently crushed.

CONSTITUTION:After the projected part 2 of a guidance tube 1, a part of whose fore end part 1a has been projected, has been positioned above, a coupling part 6 is broken. Then, the guidance tube 1 is turned by 180 deg., and the direction of the guidance tube 1 is corrected, so that the axial direction of the guidance tube 1 is brought near to parallel with that of a cast-iron pipe 51. By positioning the projected part 2 in a lower position, the distance l2 between the lower end 51b of the sectional surface 51a of the cast-iron pipe 51 and the point 3a where the end surface 2a of the projected part 2 of the guidance tube 1 is brought into contact with the cast-iron pipe 51 becomes longer. Since the distance l2 is long, even if the end part 1a of the guidance tube 1 being driven forward is brought into contact with the outside surface of the cast-iron pipe 51, the cracking of the cast-iron pipe 51 is hardly caused.

摘要： PURPOSE:To replace an existing pipe easily with high efficiency. CONSTITUTION:After cutting an existing pipe 1 circumferentially at spaces in the pipe axis direction by a cutting device 2, the outer peripheral ground of the existing pipe 1 is excavated ahead by an advancing pipe 3 with its inner diameter larger than the joint outer diameter of the existing pipe 1, and the front part of a propulsion pipe 3 that can pass outside the existing pipe 1 is connected to the rear part of the advancing pipe 3. The cut existing pipe is then held by fitting/removing mechanism 5 in a removing device 6 so as to be moved into a start shaft 7. While repeating the circumferential cutting of the existing pipe 1 by the cutting device 2 and the movement-removal of the cut existing pipe by the removing device 6, the existing pipe 1 in a unit work block is replaced with the propulsion pipe 4 that is used as a new pipe.

摘要： PURPOSE:To replace an existing pipe with a new without excavation by giving a cutting line to a joint, rupturing the joint with a projection on an excavation leading pipe, and taking in splinters of the joint into the trunk part of the severed existing pipe using a scraper. CONSTITUTION:At a certain spacing in the pipe circumferential direction, a plurality of cutting lines extending in the pipe axial direction are given to the joint 2 of an existing pipe 1 using a vertical cutter 15 and a horizontal cutter 14 of a joint cutting device 10, which is movable and is inserted in the existing pipe 1, while cutting lines in the pipe circumferential direction are given to both sides in axial direction of the joint 2 using a circumferential cutter 13 belonging to the same cutting device 10. Then an existing pipe carryout machine 30 is inserted in the pipe 1, and an excavation leading pipe 20 having projections in specified position on the inner surface is put on the pipe 1, and excavation is performed forward while the projections are pressed to the outer surface of the joint 2. The severed existing pipe 1A is removed by the carryout machine 30 through a new laid pipe 5 which is coupled with the tail of the excavation leading pipe 20, and another new laid pipe is coupled with the tail of the first-named new laid pipe 5. These procedures are repeated, and thus replacement of the existing pipe 1 with new pipes 5 is achieved.

CONSTITUTION:In exchanging work, a joint cutting device 10 which is movable in an existing pipe 1 is inserted into the pipe, the joint 2 of the existing pipe 1 is cut at a plurality of points by a vertical cutter 16 and a horizontal cutter 15 over a predetermined length in the axial direction, and front and rear of the joint 2 in the cut length in the axial direction is cut by a circumferential cutter 13. Next, a cut piece of the joint is recovered in the cut piece container by a cut piece recovering device 20, and then, the ground on the outer circumferential side of a general part of the cut existing pipe 1A from which the joint 2 was removed is excavated by an excavating pipe 33. After that, a new pipe 5 is connected to the rear of the excavating pipe 33 and both the pipes 5 and 33 and propelled for a predetermined distance by a propelling device 8, and then, the general part of the cut existing pipe 1A is made to pass the new pipe 5 with held by a holding clamp to be removed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the applied quantity of the earth to be refilled and lighten the field covering work of coupling parts by bonding buried pipes in a ditch drilled by means of a meeting place drilling method, applying anticorrosive coating to the outer surface of the coupling part and filling foaming resin around the coupling part. CONSTITUTION:A ditch 6 is drilled at the coupling parts of buried pipes 2 by a meeting place drilling method, and the buried pipes 2 are connected to each other in the ditch 6 by welding. Anticorrosive coating 8 of inorganic zinc or the like is then applied to the outer surface of the coupling part in order to protect the coupling part from corrosion. Foaming resin material made of foaming styrene and the like is further injected to the bottom part of the ditch 6 and foamed to cover around the buried pipes 2 with foaming resin 7. The upper part of the foaming resin 7 is backfilled with the earth generated by drilling the ditch for a meeting place. As a result, the applied quantity of the earth to be refilled can be reduced, as well as the field covering work of the coupling part can be lightened.
