摘要： PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive steel hoistway with an easy structure settable in a low-storied wooden building by a hoistway steel tower integrated in the space of a low-storied building to the building by bolts extending through the wall or beam of the building. CONSTITUTION: Vertical columns 1-4 of a steel tower are vertically set, and upper end members 5, 6 are fixed to a building by bolts extending through the walls of the building surrounding a hoistway through brackets 11, 12. A lower frame integrally assembled in square is set on the lower end of the columns, and receiving plates 31 fixed to the four angles thereof are fixed to the foundation of the building by bolts 22. A member 23 and a square frame 25 are fastened to the middle part of the columns by bolts, and fixed to the building by bolts extending through the walls of the building surrounding the hoistway through brackets 27, 28, respectively. According to such a structure, the horizontal rigidity can be increased, a plurality of beams of the building can be consequently firmly fixed by the through-bolts, and an elevator steel hoistway of an easy structure causing no trouble in living can be provided.

摘要： PURPOSE:To automatically lock and unlock the cage door of an elevator so as to improve its safety by providing a lock pin which can freely be inserted/ drawn into/from a hole provided for the hanger of the cage door. CONSTITUTION:When the cage of an elevator leaves its stop floor, as a lever 7 on the cage side is released from a fixed cam provided in a rising/falling passage, the lever 7 is rotated clockwise due to the spring force of a return spring. A lock pin 15a supported with the lever 7 is vertically shifted down as the lever rotates, and projected from the lower surface of a pin guide 26 on a guide rail 1, so as to be inserted into the hanger 2 of a cage door 3, or into a hole 27a provided for a locking metal part 27 integrally formed with a hanger area. As a result, the cage door 3 is locked automatically. Then while an elevator is being operated, if a passager carelessly releases a latch for a cage door holding area to open the door, the contact of a door detection switch 28 is turned off with the door slightly opened, and the elevator is stopped without the release of the lock for the cage door 3. Consequently, the safety of the elevator concerned can be enhanced.
