    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a space efficiently so as to improve the durability of a waste storage container by providing a leg part made of concrete on a lower face of a container main body part and absorbing the impact force which acts at the time of dropping by breaking the leg part. SOLUTION: This waste storage container consists of a vessel main body part 1 having a space 1a for storing waste and a leg part 2 provided on a lower face of the container main body part 1. The container main body part 1 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape and is made of high strength concrete. On the contrary, the leg part 2 is made of multiporous concrete having lower compression strength than high strength concrete, for example, porous concrete. The compression strength of the high strength concrete which constitutes the container main body part 1 is 500 to 650 kgf/cm , in particular, 550 kgf/cm . On the other hand, the compression strength of the multiporous concrete which constitutes the leg part 2 is 250 to 350 kgf/cm , in particular, 300 kgf/cm . By the way, the container main body part 1 and the leg part 2 are made of different concrete, but the leg part 2 is not separated from the container main body part 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place a large amount of land-fill material while suppressing water contamination to a minimum extent.
      SOLUTION: An angle of oscillation of a tube 30 is adjusted, and when the lower end of a cylindrical member 54 reaches a sea bed B, the lower end of the cylindrical member 54 sinks into floating mud deposited on the sea bed B. The land-fill material is pushed ahead inside the tube 30 by a screw blade 34 in a cohesive state. The land-fill material pushed out of a lower end 3010 of the tube 30 hits a rectifying member 52, and it is directed toward the inside of the cylindrical member 54. Then the land-fill material hits the inside of the cylindrical member 54, whereby the inside of the cylindrical member 54 is filled upward from below. Further, the land-fill material with attenuated momentum (flow rate) overflows from the upper end of the cylindrical member 54 to the outside of the same, and the land-fill material with attenuated momentum (flow rate) is sequentially deposited on the sea bed B around the cylindrical member 54 in a spreading manner, so that the land-fill material may be placed.
