    • PURPOSE:To prevent damage of sliding parts of a grab dredger moving device, which is to move the dredger by allowing a winch to take up a wire bound with a transfer spat driven into the water bottom, by inserting the spat through a damper sleeve fitted slidably in a long hole. CONSTITUTION:A grab dredger, in which a crane 4 is furnished with possibility of revolving round a vertical axis relative to a hull 1 for the purpose of hanging a cramshell 3, is equipped with a transfer spat 10 loosely fitted in a long hole 6 provided approx. in the center of the hull 1 and stretching in the direction fore and aft and also a fixing spat 19 loosely fitted in a part provided in the rear part of the hull 1. In the condition that this fixing spat 19 is drawn off from the sea ground, cables 25a, 25b are tracted by winches 24a, 24b for moving the hull 1 relatively along the mentioned long hole 6. A damper sleeve 28 is fitted slidably along the long hole 6, and the transfer spat 10 is inserted through this damper sleeve 28 in such a way as movable up and down.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the turbidity of ocean during the construction period of a temporary revetment by a method in which the periphery of a steel framework of a trapezoidal cross section is covered with sail cloth on the sea surface to be reclamated between a breakwater and the main revetment, and sand and gravel are packed into the framework to form a temporary revetment. CONSTITUTION:A temporary revetment 9 is formed between a breakwater 5 and the main revetment 6, in which the periphery of a steel frame 12 formed by vertically connecting many blocks 10 of a trapezoidal cross section is covered with sail cloth 14 and the frames 12 are horizontally connected to form a given reclamating section. Filler 13, e.g., sand or crushed stone, etc., is packed into the blocks 13 to construct a temporary revetment 9. A pollution preventer 11 is provided on the upper end of the revetment 9 to prevent the overflow of pollutants generated during temporary reclamation period over the upper end of the revetment 9. The temporary revetment free of turbidity of sea water can thus be constructed.

    • PURPOSE:To raise the power-saving efficiency of grab bucket during its elevating period by a method in which a weight elevating device is provided to a working base on a grab dredger and the weight of the grab bucket is partly offset by the weight vertically moving along the weight elevating device. CONSTITUTION:A weight elevating device 13 is provided on the back of the working base 5 of a grab dredger 1. The device 13 is provided with a fixed pulley 14, a mobile pulley 15, and a weight 16. The other end part of a load regulating cable 20 whose one end is coupled with a grab bucket 17 is coupled with the coupler of the device 13 through both the pulleys 14 and 15, and an emergent cable 26 from an emergent winch 12 is likewise coupled with the coupler of the device 13 through the pulleys 14 and 15. Thus, when raising the bucket 17, for example, the main cable 19 and an auxiliary cable 25 are wound up by the main winch 10 and an auxiliary winch 11 and the emergent cabel 26 is rewound by the emergent winch 12, and thereby the bucket 17 is allowed to rise under a condition that part of its weight is offset by the weight 16.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To a dredging device for lightweight earth and sand capable of efficiently dredging lightweight earth and sand from a lightweight earth and sand accumulation layer without contaminating the water area around a dredging field and force-feeding it to a dredged earth and sand receiving part above water. SOLUTION: The dredging device A comprises a cylindrical moving cylinder T having a substantially horizontal axis, which is suspended from a working vessel B on water; a transport pipe 1 connecting the base end of the moving cylinder To the dredged earth and sand receiving part; a spiral screw 6 housed in the moving cylinder T to forcedly force-feed the dredged earth and sand introduced thereto to the transport pipe 1 side; a main door 7 supported on the moving cylinder T so as to open and close a earth and sand intake port Ti opened to the lower circumferential wall of the moving cylinder T; and an auxiliary door 8 supported on the moving cylinder T to open and close a drain port To opened to the upper circumferential wall of the moving cylinder T. • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform reclamation working by separating mixed air from improvement soil carried to a placing ship by wind force from a cyclone and discharging the improvement soil stored temporarily in a surge tank to the disposal spot of a water bottom as a continuous flow by self weight from a discharge pipe. SOLUTION: In a placing ship SS, improvement soil comprising a mixture of dredging soil and sand and consolidation material milk from a carrying pipe 6 is vigorously flowed in together with a pulsating wave in a cyclone 3 by jet air, and flowed in a surge tank 10 from an outflow opening 30 by performing the separation action of mixed air in a separation chamber 3s. Next, the improvement soil in the tank 10 is flowed to a discharge pipe 12 by its self weight along an inclination bottom wall 10f. Next, when the opening and closing cover 30 of the discharge pipe 12 inclined at an underwater use position is opened by the unwinding operation of a winch 24, a constant amount of dredging soil and sand and consolidation material milk is uniformly and continuously reclaimed and placed on a disposal spot Gr being a reclamation without separation phenomenon from the discharge pipe 12, and reclamation working can be performed efficiently.
