    • PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturizing a sheet transfer device in its entirety by providing such an arrangement that a banknote separating means enters into stacked banknotes so as to obtain a gap at a predetermined position of the stack of banknotes, and a banknote gripping member is allowed to enter into the gap so as to grip and transfer a predetermined number of banknotes. CONSTITUTION:A gripping lower plate 54, a separating member 57 and storing members 55, 56 are advanced while a gripping upper finger 51 being left to open, and an entering member 171 and a loosening member 172 enter into stacked banknotes 11 so that the upper finger 51 enters into a groove 101 in a pusher plate 19, resulting in that the upper finger 51 closes, the gripping lower plate 54 and the separating member 57 being retracted, thereby a bundle 12 of banknotes is pulled out while the storing members 56 being left to stop at their advanced positions. Then the pusher plate 16 are lowered to hold the remaining stacked banknotes 11, and thereafter, the storing members 55, 56 are retracted, gripping the bundle 12 of banknotes which is then transferred to a predetermined stacking position. Thus, a mechanism for separating a bundle of sheets from a sheet stacking section and a mechanism for gripping and transferring sheets are simplified, thereby it is possible to miniaturize the device.

    • PURPOSE:To attain good detection results in the range from a low frequency band to a high frequency band by making individually the discrimination of plural signals possible when a variation is large, that is, when these plural signals are generated from the same position. CONSTITUTION:A detector consists of a signal generating part 5 provided on a revolving shaft 1, a signal detecting part 6 provided on the side of a still body, and an operating circuit 4 which processes attained signals. Signals generated from the signal generating part 5 are detected successively in accordance with the rotation of the revolving shaft 1 by the signal detecting part which is provided at equal pitches on the side of the still body, and these signals are discriminated individually by recognizing generation positions. With respect to attained signals, relations between period and angular displacement position are attained by the operating circuit 4. A permanent magnet is desirable as the signal generating part 5, and magnetic detecting circuits which are formed with IC or the like at equal narrow pitches on the outside circumferential face of a magnetic-permeable nonmagnetic material are used as the signal detecting part 6.
