    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely confirm a character even when a visually handicapped person quickly touches a key top at the time of use by sensing a finger by a magnetic sensor provided on the key top, outputting the character contents of the key top by voice and fixing the speed of outputting the voice even when the surface of the key top is quickly touched. SOLUTION: The finger is sensed by the magnetic sensor 1 provided on the key top, the character contents of the key top are outputted by the voice and the speed of outputting the voice is fixed even when the surface of the key top is quickly touched. Relating to this keyboard, by a ROM(1) 4 where a voice output speed is set, by the frequency of a clock set to the fixed speed, the voice is outputted at a constant speed when the key top surface is touched and a CPU 3 controls it. Also, when the frequency of the clock 6 is decided, the contents of the character touched on the key top surface at the speed of the frequency are outputted by a recording and reproducing circuit 7 from the ROM(2) 8 where they are recorded beforehand. Also, output contents are outputted by the voice by a speaker 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting light emitted from sensor of optical two-sheet detecting device by which the sensitivity adjustment of an optical sensor, the sensor level of which changes moment by moment, which is performed for enabling the sensor to discriminate between two sheets and one sheet of the paper sheets having different thicknesses and printed with different densities can be performed in such a way that the sensitivity can be corrected to such a level that the sensor can detect one sheet or two or more overlapping sheets. SOLUTION: The sensitivity of the sensor of an optical two-sheet detecting device is adjusted so that the sensor may discriminate the presence/absence of paper sheets and plural overlapping sheets in such a way that the sensitivity of the sensor is confirmed by changing the set light emitting quantity of a sensor light emitting element 1 by means of a D/A-converting section 5 and a light emitting quantity control section 6 and the light emitting quantity correction value which is stored in a nonvolatile memory area 1 as a table correspondingly to the light emitting quantity of the sensor at the time of adjusting the sensitivity and corrected to such a level that one sheet of paper sheets and two or more overlapping sheets of paper sheets can be detected and the corrected light emitting quantity is set as the adjusted light emitting quantity of the sensor.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money cleaning mechanism which can sufficiently exhibit satisfactory paper money smoothing-out and sterilizing effects at a sterilizing temperature which is maintained as low as possible while paper money is carried as quickly as possible in accordance with the state of the carried paper money regardless of the state. SOLUTION: A paper money cleaning mechanism is provided with a dimension detecting section 7 for paper money, a thickness detecting section 7 for paper money, a wrinkled-state detecting section 9 for paper money, stain detecting section 10 for paper money, and heating and sterilizing section 11 set up above a paper money conveyance path 4 and the dimension, thickness, wrinkled state, and stains of paper money carried on the path 4 are respectively detected by means of the sections 7, 8, 9, and 10 and the optimum carrying speed of the path 4 and the sterilizing temperature of the paper sterilizing section 11 are decided based on the information from the sections 7, 8, 9, and 10 or their combination. Therefore, the paper money cleaning mechanism can exhibit paper note smoothing-out and sterilizing effects which meet all states of paper money.
