    • PURPOSE:To enable the direct and non-contact monitoring of the operation condition of a paper feeding belt by detecting the mark of the belt non-contactly to count its output signal, and comparing the output signal to the preset value to obtain the deviation, and alarming when the deviation exceeds the specified value. CONSTITUTION:The mark 6 is adhered to a paper feeding belt 1, and a mark sensor 7 is provided at the through position spacedly facing to the mark. As the mark sensor 7, a mark sensor for detecting the mark 6 non-contactly and for generating the electric signal is appropriately selected. When the electric signal generated by the mark sensor 7 is sent to a computer alarm 8, the computer alarm 8 in which a counter for counting the electric signal is provided counts the passing frequency of the mark 6. Then, the result by counting is compared to the preset value by a comparator provided in the computer alarm 8 to compute the deviation, and when the deviation exceeds the specified value, an alarm provided in the computer alarm 8 is operated.

This roller guide element 1 is provided with an end face having concave curved surface 3b in the transport direction, and this end face is overlapped with the end face of another roller guide element 1 having convex curved surface 3a, and through jointing of them continued, a transport surface of any desired length is formed. Accordingly a flat transport path of any length with no steps as projection in the transport direction can be assembled easily.

CONSTITUTION:An article 1 to be measured such as a belt or a chord is arranged so as to be pinched by a measuring member 3 and two support members 2 and the measuring member 3 is mounted on a mount member 4 by a fixing screw 8 through a spacer 7. Since stoppers 5 are provided to the support members 2, the article 1 to be measured is prevented from movement even in the state pinched by the support members 2 and the measuring member 3 and the strain of the measuring member 3 is detected by the detector 6 such as a strain gauge adhered to the measuring member 3. The tension of the article 1 to be measured is calculated from the relation between the strain of the measuring member 3 and the tension of the article 1 to be measured preliminarily formed.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a supporting structure that reduces the stress due to the loading by an earthquake as well as the thermal stress by adopting a sliding key structure at one end of a supporting member that supports the upper part of the outer cylinder and the adjacent inner cylinder, and by providing either one of the inner or outer cylinder with a stopper in the axial direction of cylin der. CONSTITUTION:An upper supporting member 4 that supports the upper part of the outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylinder 2 has at its one end a sliding key structure 10 in order to reduce the thermal stress. Further, by providing the inner cylinder with a stopper 9 in its axial direction, and by leaving a gap between the stopper 9 and the outer cylinder 1 to allow a thermal displacement, the load can now be distributed, which would otherwise have concentrated on the upper supporting member 4 when an external force such such as an earthquake is applied. The stopper 9 may separately be disposed in multiple places, and can be placed on the outer cylinder side 1 in stead of the inner cylinder side 2.
