    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid lock device for a vehicle, for facilitating an operation for pulling back a moving member in emergency.SOLUTION: The lid lock device operates an electric motor, moves a lock shaft forward and backward with respect to a housing to be engaged and disengaged with/from a lid provided on a vehicle body. To a rear end of the lock shaft, a tool 7 for emergency integrally molded by a synthetic resin material is connected. The tool 7 for emergency is connected to the lock shaft by a shaft engaging part 71. A clamp 8 is fixed to an inner panel of the vehicle, and a handle part 72 provided on the tool 7 for emergency is movably attached to the clamp 8. When the operation of returning the lock shaft by the electric motor cannot be performed, an operator pulls the handle part 72 kept attached to the clamp 8 and pulls the lock shaft to dissolve engagement with the lid.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid lock device for vehicle which is easily attached to a vehicle, and which is easily manufacturable.SOLUTION: A lock shaft 5 is housed so as to be movable in the forward and backward directions of a vehicle in a housing 2 of a fuel lid lock device 1. A torsion spring 6 is held between the lock shaft 5 and the housing 2. An attachment boss 21d of the housing 2 is inserted into the inner peripheral section of a coil section 61 of the torsion spring 6, and the torsion spring 6 is attached to the housing 2 such that the coil section 61 is positioned under the lock shaft 5. One end of the coil section 61 is formed with a fixed arm 62 extended upwardly, and configured to be engaged with a locking claw 21h of the housing 2, and the other end of the coil section 61 is formed with a mobile arm 63 extended upwardly, and configured to be engaged with a connection hole 55 of the lock shaft 5. The torsion spring 6 is configured to energize the lock shaft 5 to the front of the vehicle such that the lock shaft 5 is engaged with a fuel lid.

The rear end of the lock shaft 6 is connected to an emergency tool 7 integrally formed of a synthetic resin material. An insertion part 66 formed on the lock shaft 6 is inserted in an assembly hole 711 of a shaft engaging part 71, and the emergency tool 7 is then drawn backward so that the insertion part 66 is moved into a slide hole 712 while a partition piece 713 is deflected. Consequently, the emergency tool 7 and the lock shaft 6 are connected. In the case that the lock shaft 6 cannot be returned back by the electric motor 3, an operator pulls the emergency tool 7 for traction of the lock shaft 6.
