    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head cover made of resin for an internal combustion engine maintaining high positional accuracy of an arranged part or a penetrating part of an internal combustion engine functional device without covering the whole surface with metal.
      SOLUTION: A frame member 12 is integrated with a cylinder head cover body 4 made of resin, in a narrow range among a bolt fastening hole 2c, openings 6, 8 and an insertion port part 10. Distortion formed on the cylinder head cover body 4 is thereby small even with a temperature change, and there is no possibility of causing a crack and exfoliation with the lapse of time. Furthermore, since the rigidity of the cylinder head cover 2 among the bolt fastening hole 2c, openings 6, 8 and insertion port part 10 is improved, deformation among the bolt fastening hole 2c, openings 6, 8 and insertion port part 10 is sufficiently suppressed as the whole cylinder head cover 2. The cylinder head cover 2 can thereby maintain high positional accuracy of the openings 6, 8 and insertion port part 10 which are the penetrating part of a fuel injection valve and the arranged part of a cam angle sensor.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a positional discrepancy between a valve case side oil passage provided in a cylinder head cover and a cylinder head side oil passage of an internal combustion engine.
      SOLUTION: A valve case 4 is joined to a cylinder head cover body 2 by welding through weld parts 4a. Before joining, restriction pins 20, 22 are fitted into fitting holes 26a, 28a formed in a cam cap 8. Since the valve case 4 is thereby restricted in its position in a direction along the upper face of a cylinder head H, the valve case 4 is always arranged on the basis of the cylinder head H even if joined to the cylinder head cover body 2. Consequently, even if the cylinder head cover body 2 is distorted and deformed when mounting the cylinder head cover or deformed by a temperature change or an internal pressure change afterwards, the positional discrepancy between the valve case 4 side oil passage and the cylinder head H side oil passage is prevented.
