    • PURPOSE:To reduce a mechanical noise and suction and exhaust noise, by providing an engine in the inside of a storage water tank filled with a heat medium and coating a driven equipment, containing a mounting part of the engine, by a soundproof case. CONSTITUTION:A storage water tank 1 is constituted by the main unit 2 of a tank filled with a heat medium in the inside and a cover member 5 water-tightly fitted through a vibro-isolating material 3 and a seal material 4. An engine 11 immersed in the heat medium is mounted to a bottom face of the cover member 5. While a compressor 13, being an equipment as driven by the engine 11 further coating the external part by a soundproof case 12, is mounted to an upper face of the cover member 5. In such way, a noise of the engine 11 and the compressor 13 can be decreased, further a noise arising from mechanical vibration can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE: To decrease the height of an engine so as to improve performance of the engine and its maintainability, by arranging intake and exhaust valves in an overhead valve type and opening an exhaust port on a face in the opposite side to an intake port.
      CONSTITUTION: Arranging an intake port 137 to be opened on one side face of a cylinder head 1B while an exhaust port 138 to be opened to a face in the opposite side, a carburetor 14, and air cleaner 15 are connected to the intake part 137, while a muffler 16 is connected to the exhaust port 138 respectively. Height of an engine is decreased while the engine is laterally balanced by dispersedly arranging the carburetor 14, air cleaner 15 and the muffler 16 to the left and the right. While the intake port 137 is formed in an upward slope by positioning an intake valve 7 above and an opening position is lowered to be placed in almost equal level to the height of the inlet of the exhaust port 138, resulting in the lowering of positions of the carburetor 14 and the air cleaner 15, thus the overall height of the engine may be further decreased.

Above a cap 100 and an oil meter 102 of the oil tank 90, a cover 122 is assembled to the cowling 110. It is supported by an arm 126 and able to be opened when supplying oil.
