    • PURPOSE:To effectively supply oil to a connecting-rod big-end even when an engine is in a low and an intermediate speed and promote the reduction of oil consumption, by improving an attitude and a position of an oil delivery nozzle in a separate oiling system, in the case of the engine vertically placing its crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:A crankshaft 2 connects with an intake passage 12 through a reed valve body 11 by opening an intake port. While a reed valve 15, being brought into resilient contact with a through hole 14 of the reed valve body 11 from the side of a crank chamber 2a, controls intake air to be fed and interrupted in accordance with a change of internal pressure in the crank chamber 2a due to the reciprocating motion of a piston 4. And the crank chamber 2a arranges inside a separate oiling delivery nozzle 17 penetrating through the crankcase 2. This delivery nozzle 17, being opened to a position between a valve stopper 16 and the peripheral edge of a cylindrical locus drawn by a connecting-rod big-end 5a further in the upper from it, is directed toward the direction of rotation of a crankshaft 3 so as to cross at an acute angle with the valve stopper 16.

    • PURPOSE:To form fresh air and residual exhaust into stratification inside a combustion chamber in a scavenging stroke as well as to stabilize a combustion state, by installing an exhaust port in a vertical upper position of a scavenging port, in case of a horizontal two-cycle engine whose cylinders are set up in horizontality. CONSTITUTION:An air-fuel mixture compressed out of a crank chamber is entered into each cylinder of a horizontal two-cycle engine, setting up two cylinders 12 and 12 in horizontality through each of scavenging passages 28A and 28B and then discharged out of an exhaust port 27. Each of scavenging ports 29A and 29B is installed at both sides of a lowermost end of the cylinder, and since the exhaust port 27 is installed in a topmost end, combustion gas in a scavenging stroke is high temperature whereby it rises upward and discharged out of the scavenging port 27, while an air-fuel mixture for scavenging use is relatively low in temperature, trying to be gathered in a lower part inside the cylinder so that the air-fuel mixture and the exhaust gas are stratified inside the cylinder, therefore fresh air exists in and around a spark plug, thus ignition takes place without fail and combustion is stabilized.

    • PURPOSE:To sufficiently lubricate an engine while almost uniformly lubricating respective portions of the engine over the whole thereof and interpolatively lubricating particular portions thereof by directly supplying one part of lubricating oil contained in a lubricating oil tank to the particular portions of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A sub-tank 24 for housing lubricating oil is provided on the upper part of the side of an engine 13, and the lubricating oil is capable of flowing into a lubricating pump 27 via a suction pipe 26. And, the lubricating pump 27 forcibly supplies the lubricating oil to an air intake manifold 14 of each cylinder via each discharge pipe 30. In this case, the lubricating pump 27 is made possible to supply one part of the lubricating oil to a distribution chamber 32 via an auxiliary discharge pipe 31. And, the distribution chamber 32 is made possible to directly supply the lubricating oil to particular portions of the engine 13.
