摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a three-staged rolling mill capable of controlling shape by small numbers of rolls by providing an upper and lower working rolls bending machine and by providing the upper reinforcing roll exchangeably according to the width of plate. CONSTITUTION:The diameter of the upper working roll 1 of the three-staged rolling mill is made smaller than that of the lower working roll 2, and the diameter of the upper reinforcing roll 8 is also made larger than that of the upper working roll 1. And, the diameter of the upper reinforcing roll 8 is made the same as that of the lower working roll 2, and furthermore the acting point of pressure load is regulated according to the surface length LB as a skirted roll. The reinforcing roll 8 is exchanged according to the plate width of the rolling metal 7 for making optimum shape control. Each of the both working rolls 1 and 2 is provided with the benders 12 and 13 to control effectively the plate crown. Thus, it is possible to roll good quality rolling metals with inexpensive rolling mill.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for rolling mills with which torque transmission is released at an arbitary set torque value with respect to overload torque. SOLUTION: The input torque from a motor is transmitted to spindles 20A, 20B after decelerating with output gearshafts 32A, 32B of a driving machine and transmitted to mill rolls 10A, 10B and overload preventing devices 100A, 100B having coupling assemblies for which tightening torque generated by oil pressure is utilized are provided between these output gear shafts 32A, 32B and the spindles 20A, 20B. Oil is supplied from a hydraulic pump 50 to this overload preventing device through rotary joints 60A, 60B. When torques detected with torque detectors 80A, 80B are larger than a preset value, the oil is relieved by switching the flow passages of directional control valves 54A, 54B with a controlling means 200. With this controlling means 200, the set torque value for interrupting torque transmission is selected in accordance with rolling conditions.

SOLUTION: Without entirely using gear type pinion stands, toothless rollers 1, 2, 3 are used, contact loads are imparted between them, the roller 1 is rotated with a motor 30, the rotation of the roller 1 is transmitted to the rollers 2, 3 by frictional force basesd on the contact load and the rotations of the rollers 2, 3 are transmitted to rolling rolls (intermediate rolls) 40, 41 through spindles 34, 35. At the time of the generation of rolling trouble such as the breakage of the plate, by momentarily releasing the contact loads between the rollers 1, 2, 3 by the action of a selector valve, transfer torques are eliminated and the rollers 2, 3 after releasing the contact loads are braked with brakes.
