    • The device is intended for the distribution of a large number of components, such as, for example, electrical components for the carrying out of process involving the assembly of electrical circuits on mounting plates. The device is made up of a number of elongated magazine boxes (2), each with several receiving hollows (2). By means of two powered endless chains (3) arranged in each case on the side of the magazine boxes (2) after the fashion of a dumbwaiter conveyer with a turn-around chain sprocket (4), the boxes are moved to the vicinity of a receiving window (6). In addition, the device is fitted with a restraint mechanism which holds the individual magazine boxes (2) and their receiving hollows (5) in a horizontal position while they are moving along the endless chain (3) path. In cases where a large number of magazine boxes with their receiving hollows are expected, the invention offers the possibility of reaching within a relatively short time any desired magazine box situated along the endless chain. To this end the two endless chains (3) are fitted at regular intervals with rods (12) projecting towards the center on which the holding elements (13) which serve to hold the magazine boxes (2) are mounted so as to rotate. These holding elements (13) are fitted with dwelling elements (16) which can be locked at prescribed angle positions in relation to the endless chain (3).
