摘要： This invention describes a method and apparatus for a dispenser assembly (1) suitable for dispensing reagent in an automatic system. In embodiments, the present invention may include a metering chamber (32) that accurately controls the amount of fluid dispensed. In other embodiments, the amount of fluid may be controlled by the action of a flexible diaphragm (33), which may be assembled into a cavity of a dispenser housing creating a metering chamber. In another embodiment, a volume created by a metering chamber may determine the volume of dispensed fluid. When a diaphragm is compressed from its free or uncompressed position (36) to an inverted or compressed position (37), it may substantially conform to the inner surface of the metering chamber. Fluid enters a metering chamber through an inlet unidirectional valve (34) and exits a metering chamber through an outlet unidirectional valve (25).

摘要： The present invention concerns an apparatus (1) for staining tissue samples, said apparatus (1) including a reagent section (2) or reagent containers (3); at least one staining section or tissue samples, a robotic head (22) or robotic element (20) that may move reagent to a predetermined tissue sample, said robotic element (20) being moveable above the reagent and the staining sections, a control element (85) that may manage a staining process, a 2-D optical sensor (86) to detect two-dimensional image data of a relevant property and that can feed the captured image data to the control element (86). By providing the robotic element (20) with a 2-D optical sensor (86), a common image processor may be provided having multiple functions. By using a 2-D optical image processing system, the control system of the apparatus may easily be adapted to read various types of data presentations, just as actual images for sections of the apparatus may be identified in order to assess the condition of the apparatus. The optical sensor may be used to automatically identify the slides and the reagent containers present in the apparatus, just as the optical sensor may be used for checking if a slide is misplaced at or absent from a slide position, etc.

摘要： Novel compounds carrying ligands capable of ligating to counter receptors on relevant target cells are disclosed. The compounds possess a number of advantageous features, rendering them very suitable for a wide range of applications, including use as detection systems, detection of relevant target cells as well as in various methods. In particular, novel MHC molecule constructs comprising one or more MHC molecules are disclosed. The affinity and avidity of the MHC molecules of the constructs are surprisingly high. The possibility of presenting to the target cells a plurality of MHC molecules makes the MHC molecule constructs an extremely powerful tool e.g. in the field of diagnosis. The invention relates in general to the field of therapy, including therapeutic methods and therapeutic compositions. Also comprised by the present invention is the sample-mounted use of MHC molecules, MHC molecule multimers, and MHC molecule constructs.
