The machine also may include a strengthening film applicator assembly that applies a strengthening film along a longitudinal length of the first side of the sheet material and/or across the support tab.

摘要： A holder for flexible sheet material providing a substantially horizontally oriented housing containing convergent parallel walls forming an interior passageway with an opening. Contained within the housings' passageway are several spaced cylindrical rods with removable handles attached and exposed through the opening of the housing. The relationship between the diameter of the rods and the opening between the convergent walls is such that the rods can not pass through the opening and exit the housing. Sheet material moved into the opening in an upward direction between the inside front of the housing and the rods is secured by pulling on the handles attached to the rods to activate the wedging action. The sheet material can be removed from the holder by moving the handles vertically within the passageway to allow the sheet material to slip freely out of the housing. The maneuverability of these wedging rods via the affixed handles permits it to be used to secure sheet materials of various thickness, weights and textures.

摘要： A hand held powered tool is provided which is intended to be carried by an operator during use. The power tool has a frame, including a handle to be grasped by the operator, an implement affixed to the frame having a rotary input member and a small four-cycle lightweight internal combustion engine attached to the frame for driving the implement. The four-cycle engine is made up of a lightweight aluminum engine block having a cylindrical bore and an enclosed oil reservoir formed therein. A crankshaft is journaled to the engine block for rotation about a crankshaft axis. A piston reciprocates within the bore and is connected to the crankshaft by a connecting rod having oil splasher formed thereon for intermittently engaging the oil within the enclosed oil reservoir to splash lubricate the engine. The engine is provided with a cylinder head assembly defining a compact combustion chamber having a pair of overhead intake exhaust ports cooperating intake and exhaust valves. A lightweight high powered engine is thereby provided having relatively low HC and CO emissions.

A suspension strip is fixed to a top edge of each document, and includes an orifice for receiving the suspension rod, and notches with an edge interposed therebetween. The notches and edges are identical from one suspension strip to one another. A scale is positioned behind the suspension strips of the documents, and displays identification information which is aligned with grooves formed by alignment of the notches of adjacent suspension strips. A tab fixed to a top portion of the suspension strip constitutes a guide mark for the document corresponding to which the suspension strip is fixed, wherein the tabs of different suspension strips are of different colors, and each color is associated with identification information which is displayed on the top portion of the scale for identifying documents.

摘要： The present invention relates to a holding assembly for holding sheets of material, as for example blueprints, in a vertical or hanging position and for providing an easy way to transport the sheet material when it is to be used. The assembly has a clip means normally open along its longitudinal extent. This clip opening can be enlarged by urging the walls of the clip outwardly. A retaining tube is provided which is open along its longitudinal extent and is adapted to receive the clip and engage the walls of the clip to both and to squeeze the walls of the clip against the sheet material. A mounting tube is provided which is also open along its longitudinal extent and is adapted to receive the clip and retaining tube. The mounting tube is mounted to a support rack so that the sheet material can hang vertically.

An elongated flexible gripper tongue is formed along the mounting surface of the channel and includes a clamping surface adapted to engage the bearing surface of the forward leg of the channel for receiving and clamping an article such as sheet material therebetween. The rigid plastic channel and flexible plastic gripper tongue are preferably co-extruded in a single operation to form a one-piece mounting strip having cooperating clamping elements with different durometer hardnesses.
