摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing a cutting geometry running in the circumferential direction, in particular for producing a locking ring, in a shell of a closure cap for a container, comprising the steps of providing the closure cap and transporting the closure cap by means of a transport device along a transport path. The closure cap is fed to a machining section of the transport path, in which machining section a stationary cutter having a cutting blade extending along a cutting section is arranged, and a cutting process is carried out in the machining section by rolling of the shell on the cutting blade of the stationary cutter to produce the cutting geometry. The closure cap is fed to the machining section with a predeterminable orientation of a rotational position relative to a centre axis of the closure cap, and a driver of the transport device which rotates about an axis of rotation is made to engage with a stop of the closure cap and a movement of the rotating driver is controlled in such a way that, when the closure cap enters the machining section, the driver has a rotated position corresponding to the predeterminable orientation of the closure cap. The invention further relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method.

摘要： A method of making a barbed microcatheter having fluid egress openings includes obtaining a barbed microcatheter blank having a hollow tube with a proximal end, a distal end, and an elongated lumen that extends between the proximal and distal ends of the hollow tube, and first and second flattened regions that extend along opposite sides of the hollow tube. The method includes removing material from the first and second flattened regions of the barbed microcatheter blank to form barbs projecting outwardly from the opposite sides of the hollow tube, and using cutting elements for forming fluid egress openings in a wall of the hollow tube that are in fluid communication with the elongated lumen of the hollow tube. The method includes forming a tissue anchor that is connected with the proximal end of the hollow tube, and securing a surgical needle with the distal end of the hollow tube.

The micro-cutting machine can directly control the dimensions of the resultant beams being cut into these types of products, and can also capture images of each cut for feedback control and accuracy verification. The micro-cutting machine has two cutting blades each with cutting edges aligned with a vertical axis. Motors operate to move the cutting blades in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the stock material being cut to form a pair of opposing grooves in the stock material with each cut.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a manufacturing method for a plug for a container neck. In one implementation, a skirt of the plug is molded and provided with an attachment device adapted to removably attach to the container neck and with a permanent retention strip around the container neck. The retention strip is adapted to pass, by folding, from a molding configuration to an operating configuration. A peripheral break line is then cut out in the skirt, adapted so as to be broken during the first opening of the plug. In some implementations, the retention strip may be prefolded and thereby pass from a molding configuration to an intermediate prefolded configuration. The retention strip is then folded until it passes into an operating configuration. In some implementations, the folding of the retention strip may pass the retention strip from an intermediate prefolded configuration to an operating configuration.

摘要： A deflectable lifting device can be mounted to a support form, work surface or other member of a material conveyance system. According to embodiments, the deflectable lifting device can have a base that mounts into the support, and a bendable arm arranged in the pathway of a material conveyance system, such as a paper stripping or paper blanking work station. When a sheet or web of material travels over the deflectable lifting device, the bendable arm can bend and deflect downwards, but still contact the sheet or web with a gently humped or arcuate portion, providing a small margin of elevation or lift to the sheet or web. The sheet or web can therefore be elevated above edges, holes, or other obstructions in the pathway that could jam or snag the delivery of the material.
