    • A workstation for cutting glass into panes includes a personal computer having a board for receiving signals from a transmitter and a video board for controlling a second display in addition to and independently of a first display. The first display is for quantitative data concerning the cut pattern, e.g. the dimension of a cut, and the second display is for qualitative data concerning the cut pattern, e.g. a graphic image illustrating the cut. The worker signals the computer by means of the transmitter to indicate that a cut has been completed. The cut pattern is displayed as a series of individual cuts. Only after the worker has signaled that a cut is completed does the computer display the next cut.

    • The production system of the present invention includes a single main conveying line (10) capable of defining a plurality of manual work areas (A) and capable of conveying workpieces (W), a shuttle (30) that holds a workpiece thereon and that reciprocates along the main conveying line, a shuttle conveying line (20) on which the shuttle is reciprocated over a predetermined distance, a plurality of automatic processing machines (40) that are disposed along the shuttle conveying line on the side opposite to the side on which the main conveying line is laid and that automatically apply a variety of process operations to the workpiece, and a plurality of display units (60) that are disposed adjacent to the manual work areas and that display information about process operations to be applied to the workpiece. According to this production system, a worker is prevented from performing an improper process operation, and the entire system process can be smoothly performed. Additionally, an increase or decrease in the number of pieces of equipment or the replacement of the equipment with another can be easily achieved in response to an increase or decrease in the amount of production or a change in the machine model.

    • In a production information processing system in which all information including image data required for manufacturing products is properly transmitted to a producing spot to thereby make it possible to perform high quality control, a manufacturing drawing information is formed in a computer aided system portion in a main information processing apparatus, and a quality control instruction table is formed on the basis of the manufacturing drawing information in a quality control system portion, so that the amount of order reception, the data of delivery, and the like are entered in a production control system portion. Then, each information is transmitted to an engineering work station provided in a factory. In the engineering work station, a handwritten process instruction such as "factory know how" or the like is read in as image data; the quality control instruction table, the manufacture instruction table and the process instruction table are integrated so as to form an integrative work instruction table; the integrative work instruction table is sent to interactive type terminals provided in each spot.
