摘要： An expansion joint system for bridging an expansion joint gap between two spaced-apart underlying stair structures. The expansion joint system includes a movable plate that is connected to a fixed plate through a hinge. The hinge connection permits the movable plate to move in response to thermal movements and seismic events that causes the width of the expansion joint to open to a greater width or close to a smaller width. Following the seismic or thermal event, the hinge connection automatically returns the movable plate to its original position.

摘要： A structure to form flooring transitions having outer surfaces comprising two disparate materials. In a preferred embodiment the flooring transitions includes a T-shaped molding and at least one attachment thereto. The outer surfaces of the T-molding and attachment may be comprised of different materials, even though they may sometimes have the same pattern or décor. For example, the T-molding may have a surface of real wood or veneer and the attachment may have an outer surface of abrasion resistant foil, metal, or even a visual perception element, such as lights or reflective tape. A kit is also disclosed.

摘要： A deck planking assembly system, comprised of two independent extrusions, to construct outdoor decks, docks and like structures. The top member includes a horizontal walking surface with multiple downwardly projecting vertical legs for locking devices and two additional projections for outer side walls. The second member of the device includes an elongated support formed from a rigid extrusion of metal, plastic or composite material, having a horizontal mounting surface which is affixed to a joist system. This contains multiple upwardly extending vertical legs at different lengths to create a crowned walking surface. Each vertical leg supports a horizontal extension terminating into an engaging locking method and an intermediate support means for the top member.
