摘要： A flexible grip for implements to be manually swung with speed and force, particularly golf clubs is disclosed. The grip is formed of elastomeric material die cut into patterns from uncured sheet stock. Discrete non-woven fibers of material having desired moisture absorbency are dispensed in random orientation onto the uncured sheet stock and embedded by rolling into the sheet stock. The pattern sheet stock, with embedded fibers is wrapped onto a mandrel which is inserted into a pre-mold, compressed thereon, removed and transferred to a compression mold, and cured. The mandrel is removed from the mold and the cured grip removed from the mandrel and installed onto the implement grip.

摘要： A slip-proof grip sleeve includes a lining tube and a slip-proof strip mounted on an outer periphery of the lining tube. The slip-proof strip includes a gripping portion between front and rear ends thereof. The slip-proof strip further includes a first folding portion adjacent to the rear end and a second folding portion adjacent to the gripping portion. The first and second folding portions are thinner than a thickness of the gripping portion. The first folding portion is folded toward an inner face of the slip-proof strip to overlap with the second folding portion. The slip-proof strip includes a third folding portion adjacent to the front end and a fourth folding portion adjacent to the gripping portion. The third and fourth folding portions are thinner than the thickness of the gripping portion. The third folding portion is folded toward the inner face to overlap with the fourth folding portion.

摘要： A grip for a shaft for a golf club, the golf club comprising a head provided at a first end of the shaft and a second end of the shaft corresponding to the hand placement area on which the grip is formed, and a method for forming such a grip are disclosed. A grip comprises a sleeve of heat-shrinkable material adapted to be inserted over the second end and an under listing positioned along the second end, wherein the sleeve is inserted over the second end and the under listing positioned thereon, and shrinks onto the second end upon heat application. A method for forming a grip comprises positioning an under listing along the second end, inserting a sleeve of heat-shrinkable material over the second end and the under listing positioned thereon, applying heat to the sleeve such that the sleeve shrinks onto the second end. A golf club shaft comprising a first end and a second end, with a grip at the second end, said grip comprising an under listing positioned along the second end and an elongate hollow cylindrical heat shrinkable sleeve that is open on each end that is slidably inserted over the second end onto which the under listing has been positioned, whereby the grip is fixed onto the second end by applying heat to the sleeve to cause the sleeve to shrink onto the second end.

摘要： An improved golf club grip 10a, 10b, 10c with a well-defined and pronounced reminder rib 20a, 20b, 20c includes in one embodiment of the present disclosure a groove 32 positioned in the exterior surface 34 on each side of or surrounding a ridge 24a that extends lengthwise inside the body 14a of the grip 10a. When the golf grip 10a is installed on a golf club shaft 12, the groove 32 facilitates the flexing of the grip material for forming the reminder rib 20a. In another embodiment of the present disclosure, the grip 10b, 10c is provided with a raised portion 36 of a selected material in a select region on the grip 10b, 10c. When the golf grip 10b, 10c is installed on a golf club shaft 12, the raised portion 36 becomes the reminder rib 20b, 20c.

摘要： Utilities that allow repairing turf and installing a turf repair tool on a shaft or grip of a golf club. In one aspect, a turf repair tool is disclosed for partial conforming attachment to a golf club grip. The turf repair tool may be irreversibly engaged with the golf club grip to facilitate ergonomic turf repair. The turf repair tool may include one or more prongs that may extend beyond the end of a golf club shaft distal to a golf club head such that a golfer may manipulate a golf club to repair a portion of dislodged turf without kneeling, sitting, or maintaining a position or posture that places excess or undue strain on the golfer. Additionally, the present disclosure includes embodiments that relate to a method of irreversibly installing the turf repair tool on a grip of a golf club.

摘要： Disclosed are grips and methods of making grips for use with the handle of an article, and in particular for use with fishing poles and golf clubs. Grips preferably include a multi-layered gripping member and an inner sleeve or mounting body. The gripping member can include an outer layer with a fabric layer coated and preferably saturated by polyurethane. The outer layer can be bonded to an inner layer to form the gripping member which is then attached to the sleeve. The sleeve can be ground from a starting block of material or may be injection molded. Also disclosed are handles including a connector configured to couple to a portion of a fishing pole. Such handles may include a multiple layers and can be selectively removed from the article. Methods are also provided for selectively coupling exchangeable handles to articles including fishing poles.
