摘要： A method of adjusting a suspension run height includes: pivotably mounting a leveling valve to a hanger bracket; attaching an indicator arm to a suspension component which displaces relative to the hanger bracket; and pivoting the leveling valve relative to the hanger bracket to thereby adjust the run height of the frame relative to the suspension component. A run height adjustment system includes: a leveling valve having a leveling arm pivotably mounted thereto at a first pivot, and an indicator arm being pivotably mounted to the leveling arm at a second pivot; an adjustment lever for pivoting the leveling valve about a third pivot; and the third pivot being positioned longitudinally between the first and second pivots. 摘要： A method for automatically controlling angles in a driveline of a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle includes an air-wide suspension system, and the driveline includes a drive shaft driven through a universal joint. The universal joint produces a rotational velocity that is detected by a sensor of a control assembly. A controller, also part of the control assembly, converts the rotational velocity into alternating rotational acceleration and deceleration of the drive shaft. Once quantified, the acceleration and deceleration of the drive shaft is compared to determine any changes in rotational acceleration. In response to any changes in rotational acceleration, the air-ride suspension system is adjusted to control the driveline angle at one end of the drive shaft such that the driveline angle at one end is balanced relative to the driveline angle at the other end of the drive shaft, and noise, vibration, fatigue, or failure of the drive shaft is reduced.

摘要： A work vehicle includes a front axle, a rear axle, a chassis, a cab pivotally coupled to the chassis, a boom movably mounted on the chassis, and a boom cylinder for raising and lowering the boom. A rear suspension member raises and lowers the cab with respect to the rear axle. A front suspension member raises and lowers the chassis and the cab with respect to the front axle. An operator controlled command unit generates boom raise and lower signals. An electronic control unit (ECU) is connected to the front suspension member, the rear suspension member and the command unit. If vehicle speed is below a threshold speed, the ECU automatically operates the front and/or the rear suspension members to raise and lower the cab to improve visibility of the loader from the cab in response to the command unit operating the boom.

摘要： A stabilizing device for use with a vehicle such as a rough terrain forklift. The stabilizing device employs a cylinder with a movable piston mounted therein, with upper and lower piston rods extending from the piston. The cylinder is fixed to the frame of the vehicle, and an end of the lower piston rod is fixed to the rear axle of the vehicle, which is pivotably mounted to the underside of the frame. A fluid communication system including restrictive orifices provides communication between upper and lower chambers of the cylinder so that, during upward or downward movement of the piston within the cylinder, fluid is forced to pass through the restrictive orifices to provide damping of oscillations, and thereby a firmer feel and more stable handling to the vehicle. A valve is movable to varying positions in response to the position of the boom relative to the frame, so that a more restrictive orifice is employed when the boom is moved above a predetermined angle, to increase the stability of the vehicle. When a larger predetermined angle is attained, the valve is moved to a lock-out position to prevent fluid communication between the cylinder chambers, providing a four-point stability stance to the vehicle. Alternatively, the valve can be moved to its lock-out position by operation of a manual toggle switch by the operator.
