    • In a closed housing of a magnetic disk memory device are accommodated a spindle motor for rotatably holding a magnetic disk medium for storage of information, a magnetic head for recording and reproducing information into and from the magnetic disk medium, a head positioning mechanism for moving the magnetic head to any position on the magnetic disk medium, and so forth. A printed board having thereon control circuit parts for controlling the spindle motor and the head positioning mechanism and recording/reproducing circuit parts for effecting the recording/reproduction by the magnetic head is arranged outside of the housing. An opening corresponding to a component of the magnetic disk memory device is formed in a certain region of the housing opposing the printed board. A shielding member for preventing a dust from entering into the housing is provided for the opening. The shielding member has a sheet-like or cup-like form and the device is constructed corresponding to the unevenness or uneven arrangement of components, thereby making it possible to reduce the thickness of the device. The commonization of the shielding member for disk devices is possible and a distance between a printed board and the housing can be reduced for the whole of the device.

    • An artificial blood vessel has a trunk portion which forms a part of the blood vessel and also has branch portions which are branched from the trunk portion. The branch portions are provided with access ports into which a needle, for discharging liquid out of a human body or introducing the liquid into the human body, is inserted. Tubular reinforcement members integrated with the blood vessel wall of the trunk portion are disposed at positions of the trunk portion, the positions being those from which the branch portions are branched, and at portions adjacent to the positions of the trunk portion. A lateral force at the time of needle insertion is borne by the reinforcement member, and this prevents the trunk portion from deforming. Thus, the configuration prevents the artificial blood vessel from deforming due to a force applied when a needle for discharging liquid from a human body or introducing the liquid into the human body is inserted into an access port of the artificial blood vessel.

    • A hook device having a hook body, a stopper for preventing the hook body from slipping off a member to be connected, an elastic member for biasing the stopper toward a slipping-off preventing position, and a connecting pin for connecting these components together.     • A method for manufacturing a hydrocarbon oil, comprising: a first step wherein a feedstock oil containing an oxygen-containing organic compound and a water-insoluble chlorine-containing compound is brought into contact with a hydrogenation catalyst comprising a support containing a porous inorganic oxide and one or more metals selected from Group VIA and Group VIII of the periodic table supported on the support in the presence of hydrogen to generate a hydrocarbon oil and water in a vapor state by the hydrodeoxygenation of an oxygen-containing organic compound and convert the water-insoluble chlorine-containing compound into a water-soluble chlorine-containing compound; a second step wherein the water in the reaction product of the first step is maintained in a vapor state and the reaction product of the first step is brought into contact with a nitrogen-containing Brønsted base compound which has a boiling point at normal pressure of 100° C. or less and is water-soluble to obtain a product to be treated; and a third step wherein the product to be treated is cooled to a temperature not higher than the temperature at which water in a vapor state is liquefied to form an aqueous phase containing a water-soluble chlorine-containing compound and a nitrogen-containing Brønsted base compound and then separate the aqueous phase from an oil to be treated to obtain a product oil containing a hydrocarbon oil.
