    • A marine outboard engine for a watercraft has a stern bracket for mounting the marine outboard engine to the watercraft, a swivel bracket pivotally connected to the stern bracket about a generally horizontal tiltitrim axis, and a drive unit pivotally connected to the swivel bracket about a steering axis. The steering axis is generally perpendicular to the tilt/trim axis. An actuator is operatively connected to the stern bracket and the swivel bracket for pivoting the swivel bracket and the drive unit relative to the stern bracket about the tilt/trim axis. A pump is mounted to the swivel bracket. The pump is pivotable about the tilt/trim axis together with the swivel bracket. The pump is fluidly connected to the actuator to supply hydraulic fluid to the actuator.

    • A bracket assembly for mounting a marine outboard engine to a watercraft has a stern bracket, a swivel bracket pivotally connected to the stern bracket about a generally horizontal tilt/trim axis, and at least one linear actuator connected to the swivel bracket. The at least one linear actuator includes a fixed portion connected to the swivel bracket, a movable portion being extendable and retractable linearly relative to the fixed portion, and a roller rotationally connected to the movable portion. At least one ramp is connected to the stern bracket. The roller of the at least one linear actuator abuts a surface of the at least one ramp over at least a range of angles between the stern bracket and the swivel bracket as the swivel bracket pivots about the generally horizontal tilt/trim axis. A marine outboard engine having the bracket assembly is also disclosed.

The main base is a block of recycled plastic having a density of about 0.5 to 1.3 kg/m, an impact strength at least 3 mm/kg, and a compression rating of at least 3500 psi. The recycled plastic is any recycled plastic having the specified characteristics. The recycled plastics are predominantly recycled plastic bottles and containers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, and mixtures thereof. These may be chipped, melted, and cast or extruded into sheets having the above properties. A vertical hub peg extends upwardly from the main base centerpoint, with a plurality of concentric indicia located around the hub peg.

    • The present invention provides a roadway barrier or guard rail system which has a post (12) which passes through the carriage (20) with the carriage (20) being free to move up along the post (12). The carriage (20) is prevented from moving down the post (12) by means of a stop or restraint (12.60,12.50,12.40,12.30) which is separate from and underneath the carriage (20) and which the carriage (20) abuts, with the stop or restraint (12.60,12.50,12.40,12.30) being located on the post (12). The carriage (20) is not otherwise restrained from moving up the post except by the curved channels through the carriage (20) which engage the extremities of the post, and the friction this may produce. Further systems are provided with the same features but additionally additional frictional or other forces such as shearing forces, produced by means of formations or fixtures to the post or the carriage which must be overcome after the carriage starts moving relative to the post, such as restraints or stops on the post above the carriage. In other embodiments additional frictional or shear forces must be overcome before movement between the carriage (20) and the post (12) will occur. The movement of the carriage (2) on the post (12) is guided by formations on the carriage (20) cooperating with the mating formations on the post (12).
