摘要： A highway safety fin having a horizontally protruding rod-shaped portion which extends into the edge of a roadway at an angle oblique to the direction of flow of the traffic. The rod portion is attached to or is integral with a flexible member which in turn is attached to or integral with a support member for holding the rod in its proper position. The flexible member allows the rod to move out of the way of a vehicle when it has been impacted and then return to its original position. The support member is attached to a mounting member by means of a breakaway weld which allows the rod to be severed from its mounting when impacted too severely. The mounting member provides a means for securing the highway safety fin along the edge of a roadway.

摘要： A plowtector system for extending a snow marker pole over a residential curb. The plowtector system reduces the chance of damage to a curb and/or snow plow when plowing is necessary. A snow marker pole placed within the plowtector system reaches over where the curb starts so that the snow plow operator has a clearer indication of how far to the side they can travel. Should the plowtector system be struck by a snow plow, the system can twist from side to side, reducing the amount of damage that may be caused by such action. The integral components of the plowtector system keep the snow marker in a level position, and bypass the possibility of the snow marker becoming lodged in snow or ice.
