    • A flame retardant aromatic polycarbonate resin composition comprising: (A) an aromatic polycarbonate resin (component A); (B) an acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer (component B); (C) inorganic fillers (components C); (D) an organic phosphorus compound-based flame retardant (component D); and (E) a fluorine-containing anti-dripping agent (component E), the amounts of the above components are specific and particularly the components C consist of (C1) mica and (C2) talc and/or wollastonite in a specific ratio, and a molded article formed from the resin composition. According to the present invention, there are provided a resin composition which has excellent mechanical properties, flame retardancy and dimensional stability, is light in weight and rarely wears away a mold and a molded article of the resin composition.

    • To provide a laminate adhesive that can keep on having adequate adhesiveness and also can prevent the odor and taste of the inherent properties of the content packed by the packing product from being spoiled even after high temperature sterilization treatment, such as the hot-water spray sterilization treatment, the hot-water rotary sterilization treatment or the steam sterilization treatment, to provide a usage of the laminate adhesive, the laminate adhesive comprises a curing component containing polyisocyanate and a base component containing polyol, wherein a silane coupling agent is contained in at least the curing component. Preferably, the silane coupling agent is mixed with both of the curing component and the base component. Further preferably, epoxysilane is mixed with the curing component and also aminosilane and oxyacid of phosphorus or derivative thereof are mixed with the base component.

    • Resins having a group reactive with an isocyanate group on a side chain are modified with isocyanatosiloxanes. In one form, the isocyanatosiloxane is a single end isocyanatosiloxane obtained by effecting addition reaction between a single end hydrogenosiloxane and an isocyanate group-containing organic silicon compound having one isocyanate group and at least one aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon group. A single end isocyanatosiloxane obtained by introducing an isocyanate group into a single end primary aminosiloxane is also useful. In another form, the isocyanatosiloxane is a polyfunctional isocyanatosiloxane which is obtained by effecting addition reaction between a hydrogenosiloxane having at least two SiH groups and an isocyanate group-containing organic silicon compound having one isocyanate group and one aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon group.

    • The present invention is directed to a polyisocyanate mixturei) having an NCO content of 5 to 35% by weight and prepared from an organic diisocyanate,ii) containing up to 25% by weight of isocyanurate groups (calculated as N.sub.3, C.sub.3, O.sub.3, MW 126),iii) containing allophanate groups in an amount such that there are more equivalents of allophanate groups than urethane and urea groups and such that the polyisocyanate mixture remains stable and homogeneous in storage for 3 months at 25.degree. C. andiv) containing siloxane groups (calculated as SiO, MW 44) in an amount of 0.002 to 50% by weight,wherein the preceding percentages are based on the solids content of the polyisocyanate mixture, excluding any unreacted organic diisocyanate, and wherein the siloxane groups are incorporated by reacting an isocyanate group with a compound containing two or more isocyanate-reactive groups directly attached to carbon atoms and one or more siloxane groups. The present invention is also directed to a process for the production of this polyisocyanate mixture and to its use, optionally in blocked form, as an isocyanate component in one- or two-component coating compositions.

C. The present invention is also directed to a process for the production this polyisocyanate mixture and to its use, optionally in blocked form, as an isocyanate component in one- or two-component coating compositions.
