    • A flow rate meter, especially for measuring the air flow rate in the intake of internal combustion engines, in which a heatable wire is located for exposure to the air stream. A controller maintains the temperature or resistance of the heated wire constant, thereby permitting a determination of the air flow from the current required in the control process. In order to prevent internal stresses in the wire due to varying expansion, the two ends of the wire are firmly mounted in a support structure while at least one intermediate part is looped loosely around an intermediate support point. In order to prevent uncontrollable heat transfer from the loop to the third support point, the wire is electrically joined at the point where the parts of the wire forming the loop cross one another, thereby preventing electrical current from flowing in the loop. Furthermore, the sensitive parts of the wire lie in the main flow and do not closely approach the wall of the structure.

    • An electromagnetically actuatable fuel injection valve which serves to supply fuel to a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine having externally supplied ignition. The fuel injection valve includes a valve housing having an outlet tube in which a valve seat body is disposed. Respective magnetic coils are disposed on pole pieces and a permanent magnet is disposed between the pole portions of the pole pieces. In the valve seat body a flow bore is provided, which merges via a stop face with a guide bore, in which a ball-shaped armature is slidably disposed. A valve needle which is joined with the armature protrudes through the flow bore and, with a closing head, cooperates with a valve seat in the valve seat body. Directly upstream of the closing head a metering collar is provided on the valve needle, an annular metering gap being formed between the metering collar and the wall of the flow bore. The valve needle is supported in pendulum fashion in the flow bore via the ball-shaped armature and, when the valve is opened, it is centered in the flow bore by the fuel flowing therein.

    • An injection valve for fuel injection devices for internal combustion engines which serves to inject fuel into the intake pipe. The injection valve consists of a valve body with a valve seat cooperating with the sealing part of a valve needle. The valve needle is guided by guide sections in a guide bore of the valve body. The guide section immediately adjoining the sealing part simultaneously serves as a metering section for metering the fuel. For this purpose axially extending surfaces are disposed on the metering section, which form throttling metering openings together with the guide bore. By metering the fuel upstream from the valve seat, impairment of the fuel metering because of deposits formed by reaction of harmful materials from the intake pipe is avoided.

    • An electromagnetically actuatable valve is proposed which serves in particular to inject fuel into the intake tube of internal combustion engine operating with fuel injection systems. The fuel injection valve includes a valve housing, a shell core having a magnetic coil and a flat armature, which is positively connected to a valve element comprising a ball which protrudes through a central opening in a guide diaphragm to cooperate with a fixed valve seat. The guide diaphragm guides the ball in the radial direction relative to the valve seat. Under spring tension, the flat armature, having a guide crown, contacts the guide diaphragm and is thus guided in a plane parallel to the end face of the shell core. A first fuel fitting comprises a portion of a valve housing preshaped by a non-cutting manufacturing method; a second fuel fitting is fixed inside the first fuel fitting in such a manner that a flow conduit is defined between the first and the second fuel fittings. The fuel flowing in via the second fuel fitting proceeds to the valve seat; when the valve is open, a portion of the fuel is delivered there to a nozzle bore in order to be metered. The non-metered fuel flows around the magnetic element and proceeds via the flow conduit into a fuel return flow line.

    • A fuel injection system for injecting fuel into the air intake tube of an internal combustion engine, including at least one fuel injection valve, which is disposed in a holder body and communicates with a fuel supply line and a fuel outflow line. The fuel injection valve is provided with a fuel supply groove, branching off from which are fuel inlet openings, and a fuel outflow groove, leading away from which are fuel outlet openings. The fuel injection valve is guided in the radial direction in a guide opening of the holder body by supporting bodies of a fuel filter which extends axially over the fuel injection valve, covering the fuel supply groove and the fuel outflow groove. The middle supporting body of the fuel filter is embodied such that it seals off the fuel supply line and the fuel supply groove from the fuel outflow line and the fuel outflow groove. In order to carry away vapor bubbles, there is either a degassing conduit embodied on the fuel injection valve between the fuel supply groove and the fuel outflow groove, a degassing conduit embodied on the middle supporting point, or a degassing conduit embodied on the holder body.
