    • The present invention relates to a reactor being used for an SCR denitrification system for denitrifying exhaust gas. The present invention can increase the reaction rate and replacement lifetime of an SCR catalyst by protecting the SCR catalyst, which is preheated above a specific temperature, from a thermal shock even if high-temperature exhaust gas is introduced during reoperation, because the reactor being used for a system for repeating turning on and off the operation of an SCR denitrification system such as an SCR denitrification system installed on a ship, has the dual structure of the main body of the reactor including the SCR catalyst and the outer casing of the reactor enveloping the main body of the reactor with a space therebetween so that exhaust gas flowing through a by-pass pipe can always preheat the SCR catalyst in the main body of the reactor above a specific temperature while passing a specific space in the outer casing of the reactor. Also the by-pass pipe of the reactor with a dual structure having by-pass and preheating functions has a by-pass inflow part, which is placed at the lower end of the outer casing of the reactor, connected to the outer casing of the reactor and a by-pass outflow part, which is placed at the upper end of the outer casing of the reactor, for flowing out the exhaust gas passed from inside the outer casing of the reactor so that the exhaust gas introduced into a specific space in the outer casing of the reactor can preheat the SCR catalyst in the main body of the reactor while passing by enveloping the whole main body of the reactor.
