    • PURPOSE: Provided is a preparation method of inorganic binder, a salt of inorganic acid, which has water resistance, no harmful materials and environmental affinity by low-cost production using liquid sodium silicate as a main material. CONSTITUTION: The inorganic binder is prepared by the following steps of: adding an acid to liquid sodium silicate slowly in a reactor, stirring at a rate of 20-200rpm between 20-40deg.C for 1hr; adding 20-30wt.%(based on the total amount) of water; stirring for 3hrs to dissolve sodium salts; adding 0.1-0.5wt.%(based on the amount of inorganic binder) of compounds(oxides and hydroxides) containing alkaline earth metals such as CaCO3, Ca(NO3)2, MgCl2, MgSO4, Ca(OH)2 to improve bending strength, strength of pellet type and resistance against surface crack. Also, inorganic compounds such as NaWO4 and NaB4O7 are added to the step before the reaction of sodium silicate and acid. The acid such as 10-20wt.% of concentrated H2SO4, 20-30wt.% of concentrated HCl, 5-10wt.% of acetic acid or 2-10wt.% H3PO4 is added to liquid sodium silicate, wherein the amount is based on Na2O contained in liquid sodium silicate, which is expressed by the formula, Na2O SiO2 + H2SO4 --> SiO2 + Na2SO4 + H2O, Na2O SiO2 + 2HCl --> SiO2 + 2NaCl + H2O, Na2O SiO2 + 2CH3COOH --> SiO2 + 2CH3COONa + H2O or 3Na2O SiO2 + 2H3PO4 --> 3SiO2 + 2Na3PO4 + 3H2O.
