    • PURPOSE: Provided are a lightweight aggregate for construction and its manufacturing method which are made of a low quality of clay-based raw materials such as clay and shale, changing of the reaction factors such as machining temperature, heat treatment temperature, heat treatment time, and so forth. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: (1) grinding process in which a clay and a shale are grinded to less than 30 micrometer and 70-100 micrometer with ball mil, respectively. (2) manufacturing of the specimen in which after 20-40 wt.% of a distilled water is added into the clay and 30 wt.% of the shale is mixed with the clay, 10-15mm of sphere or 50x50x50mm¬2 of plate is formed from the mixture and dried at the room temperature for 72 hours. (3) heat treatment in which the dried specimen is charged into the electric furnace and heated at 1200°C for 30 minutes. (4) grinding process in which the heat-treated specimen is grinded to the particles having the constant size for the lightweight aggregate.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing an aqueous mortar using yellow soil and oyster shell is provided, which mortar is applied to the building interior for shielding the toxicity of cement by emitting the far infrared ray and shielding the electromagnetic wave. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of pulverizing yellow soil containing SiO2; pulverizing zeolite, hell stone, sericite and oyster shell to the size of 10 mm or less; indirectly calcining hell stone and sericite at 750-850 deg.C, zeolite at 650-700 deg.C and oyster shell at 450-500 deg.C to remove the impurities; repulverizing the calcined one; boiling gingko leaves, pine needles, overcup oak leaves and rice hulls in about 35% salt water at 80-90 deg.C for 20-30 min; drying and pulverizing the boiled one to the size of 325 mesh; dissolving seaweeds glue and PVA into water of 65-70 deg.C to obtain an adhesive; and mixing 10-15 wt% of the zeolite; 10-15 wt% of the hell stone; 20-30 wt% of the yellow soil; 10-15 wt% of the sericite; 5-7 wt% of the rice hulls; 5-7 wt% of the pine needles; 5-7 wt% of the gingko leaves; 5-7 wt% of the overcup oak leaves; 10-15 wt% of the oyster shell; and 10-20 wt% of the adhesive solution.
