    • Tungsten residues(tails) as a replacement for cement are provided to increase strength and durability of concrete products by sintering tungsten tails and quenching. The tungsten waste powder used as a cement replacement comprises SiO2 as main material, 7-9wt.% of Al2O3, 10-12wt.% of Fe2O3, 7-9wt.% of CaO, 1-2wt.% of MgO and 0.5-7.5wt.% of small amounts of materials such as K2O, Na2O, TiO2, MnO, etc. The fine tungsten powder, having more than 3800cm2/g of surface area, is obtained by sintering tungsten residues at 500-950deg.C, cooling sintered tungsten tails rapidly by air cooler or water cooler for activation of powder, and classifying tungsten powder by sizes through free falling, centrifuging and cyclone separating of tungsten tails. The resultant tungsten powder, having 2.3-2.7 of density, replaces 8-20wt.% of cement in the production of concrete secondary products.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing concrete composition for high quality of ready mixed concrete and interlocking block by using fly ash, industrial product, as cement substitute. CONSTITUTION: The concrete composition having characteristics of low slump loss, decreased hydration heat, and low production cost, comprises: 300-550kg/m3 of cement and fly ash as binder; 130-180kg/m3 of water; 600-750kg/m3 of fine aggregate and 1100-1200kg/m3 of coarse aggregate, wherein 0-35%(based on the amount of cement(kg/m3)) of fly ash is preferably substituted for cement, the binder to water ratio is 20-60%, the fine aggregate to coarse aggregate ratio is 30-40%, and 3-6kg/m3 of fluidifying agent. The interlocking block comprises the same ratio of sand and stone powder in a range of 900-950kg/m3, 130-190kg/m3 of water, 380-420kg/m3 of cement and fly ash, wherein 0-40%(based on the amount of cement(kg/m3)) of fly ash is preferably substituted for cement. The interlocking block is produced by mixing raw materials in the proportions corresponding to the composition, forming mixtures into a block shape under vibration and compression, and curing formed blocks.
