    • PURPOSE: An air resistance reducing device actively disperses head-on wind blowing against front surface of a car to the upper part and the side part of a car body to reduce air resistance driving car body takes. CONSTITUTION: An air resistance reducing device comprises a first, a second and a third cylindrical bodies(10, 24, 34), a bracket(42), an impeller shaft(44), an air inflow impeller(46), a first and a second air spouting impellers(48, 50). The second cylindrical body(24) is divided into a front cylindrical part(20) and a rear cylindrical part(22). The L-shaped bracket(42) comprises a foot part(38) and a leg part(40) extended from the lower end of the foot part(38) perpendicularly to the foot part(38) to place and fix the cylindrical bodies(10, 24, 34) with gaps(G1, G2) on the same axis. The air inflow impeller(46) is fixed on the front end of the impeller shaft(44). The first air spouting impeller(48) is placed in a space formed by the inner part of the first cylindrical body(10) and the front cylindrical part(20) of the second cylindrical body(24) and fixed on the impeller shaft(44) to rotate by the rotation of the impeller shaft(44). The second air spouting impeller(50) is placed in a space formed by the rear cylindrical part(22) of the second cylindrical body(24) and the inner part of the third cylindrical body(34) to rotate by the rotation of the impeller shaft(44). Air flowing into the device is spouted through the gaps(G1, G2) to form an air screen to reduce air resistance.

    • An aerodynamic structure for a vehicle, which can effectively regulate airflow in a wheel house. The aerodynamic structure (10) has an airflow collision wall (24) that is positioned rearward, as seen in the front-rear direction of a vehicle body, from the rotation axis of a front wheel in the wheel house, is extended in the lateral direction of the vehicle, and is directed downward in the top-bottom direction of the vehicle body; an airflow guide wall (22) that is extended downward in the top-bottom direction from a rear end section, in the front-rear direction, of the airflow collision wall (24); and an another airflow guide wall (22) that is extended upward in the top-bottom direction from a front end section, in the front-rear direction, of the airflow collision wall (24). A projection-side ridgeline (Rf) is formed between the front end of the airflow collision wall (24) and the airflow guide wall (22), and a depression-side ridgeline (Rr) is formed between the rear end of the airflow collision wall (24) and the airflow guide wall (22). The amount of projection, in the front-rear direction, of the projection-side ridgeline (Rf) relative to the depression-side ridgeline (Rr) gradually varies in the lateral direction.
