    • PURPOSE: A safety device in getting on/off an electric rail car is provided to prevent the safety accident of passengers in getting on/off the electric rail car by arranging a safety step between an entrance of the electric rail car and a platform. CONSTITUTION: A safety device(10) in getting on/off an electric rail car comprises a fixing shaft(20) of which both ends are fixed to the electric rail car to be separated from a lower end of an entrance of the electric rail car; a hollow journal(30) coupled to an outer surface of the fixing shaft, wherein a plurality of ports(31,32) perforated at an outer surface of the journal and a safety step is formed to a side of the outer surface of the journal with a width covering the space between the electric rail car and a platform; a distributor connected to the ports of the journal in the medium of hoses to supply the hydraulic pressure to each port; a hydraulic pump supplying the hydraulic pressure to the distributor; a driving motor driving the hydraulic pump; and a control part operating the driving motor according to the opening of the entrance of the electric rail car.

    • PURPOSE: A safety step of a subway train is provided to prevent an accident in a subway train by covering the gap between the sill of the door of a subway train and the platform with a safety step when the door of the subway train is opened. CONSTITUTION: A step support(3-1) is stood on a safety step frame(5). A support pin(3-2) is fixed on the safety step frame. A pin bar(5-1) and a spring(5-2) are connected with the step support. The spring is connected to an adjustment bar(5-3) connected with solenoids(6-6,6-7). The step support is laid on or stood up between the door of a subway train and the platform by the solenoids. A center bar(5-5) switches contact switches(6-4,6-5) to control the power supply of the solenoids.

    • PURPOSE: A driving apparatus for support footstep and method for controlling operation of footstep is provided to allow precise operation through a simplified structure, while achieving an in-advance prevention against accident. CONSTITUTION: A support footstep(40) is arranged in a hinged manner to the lower end of the entrance of electric motor car, first and second cylinder installation supports(32a,32b) are arranged in a vertical direction at both end sides of a lower frame(31) of the car door, and first and second cylinders(35a,35b) are installed downward outside of first and second cylinder installation supports, respectively. A cylinder rod(35c) has an outer end bent to form a crank arm(33), and a rotating pin(34) penetrating through first and second cylinder installation supports is coupled to the crank arm. A hinge(37) having a plurality of pin insertion tubes(36) formed at a predetermined spacing so as to allow the flat portion of the rotating pin to be inserted into pin insertion tubes, is fixed onto the lower frame between first and second cylinder installation supports. A support footstep(40) having a plurality of pin insertion tubes(38) and reinforcing holes(39), is assembled into recesses defined between pin insertion tubes of the hinge. A fixing screw(42) is coupled through a screw hole(41) formed at each of pin insertion tubes of the support footstep, thus coupling the pin insertion tubes and the rotating pin.
