    • The present invention relates to an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle, wherein the air conditioning apparatus having an absorption-type cooling unit is capable of cooling air blown into the interior of the vehicle without additionally installing the indoor heat exchanger of the absorption-type cooling unit in an air conditioning case, thereby preventing an unnecessary air resistance due to the installation of the indoor heat exchanger and excluding an additional space securement. According to the present invention for the above effects, an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle comprises: a heater core heating air, which is blown into the interior of the vehicle, by receiving a hot engine coolant; an absorption-type cooling unit cooling the air, which is blown into the interior of the vehicle, by evaporation heat generated when an absorption agent absorbs a refrigerant; and a fluid control unit, wherein the absorption-type cooling unit includes: an evaporator with an inner flow path storing a first refrigerant therein and having a second refrigerant circulated therein; and a first and a second absorber alternately absorbing the first refrigerant in the evaporator so that the first refrigerant can be evaporated to cool the second refrigerant in the inner flow path. When the air conditioning apparatus enters a cooling mode, the fluid control unit restricts the engine coolant circulated in the heater core and circulates the second refrigerant, which is cooled by the absorption-type cooling unit, in the heater core, thereby allowing the heater core to cool the air blown into the interior of the vehicle. When the air conditioning apparatus enters a heating mode, the fluid control unit restricts the second refrigerant, which is in the absorption-type cooling unit and is circulated in the heater core, and circulates the engine coolant, which is heated by an engine, in the heater core, thereby allowing the heater core to heat the air blown into the interior of the vehicle.

The switching valve allows refrigerant to flow into the switching passage in lowering external temperature and coolant temperature, operating the blower and selecting the temperature controller into the high temperature.
