    • The present invention relates to a method of controlling a vehicular air conditioner which can carry out a floor purge mode of the air conditioner, irrespective of entering an ON step or start ON step by manipulation of a vehicle key while the power of first ignition (IGN 1) and second ignition (IGN 2) is applied, to prevent operation of the floor purge mode from being overlapped according to the manipulation of the vehicle key. A holding time of the IGN 1 or the IGN 2 is counted (A) after the power of the IGN 1 and the IGN 2 is ON by the manipulation of the vehicle key. An execution time when the floor purge mode is executed by the power ON of the IGN 1 and the IGN 2 is counted (B). If the execution time approaches a set execution time of the floor purge mode while the holding time is counting, the operation control of the floor purge mode is off, irrespective of the ON step or start ON step by the manipulation of the vehicle key.
