    • PURPOSE: A waste gas treatment apparatus is provided to reduce dust, sulfur oxides, and nitrogen oxides at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A waste gas treatment apparatus comprises an inlet pipe (100), a sulfur oxide processing unit, a reactor unit (300), a filter module (400), and a casing unit (500). The inlet pipe is connected to an exhaust line where waste gas generated from an engine travels. The sulfur oxide processing unit injects an absorbent into the inlet pipe. The reactor unit is connected to the inlet pipe, and comprises a space for the absorbent to be in contact with the waste gas. The filter module is placed in the reactor unit. The casing unit separately covers the reactor unit.

    • PURPOSE: An exhaust after-treatment apparatus for vehicles is provided with a reduced manufacturing cost and size as a wide space for installing a plurality of catalysts is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust after-treatment apparatus for vehicles comprises a housing(10), a diesel oxidation catalyst unit(50), a diesel particulate filter(60), and a selective catalytic reduction unit(80). The diesel oxidation catalyst unit is formed inside the housing, and oxidizes hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide. The diesel oxidation catalyst unit oxidizes nitrogen monoxide into nitrogen dioxide. The diesel particulate filter is formed at the rear side of the diesel oxidation catalyst unit, and collects the particulates contained in exhaust gas. The selective catalytic reduction unit is formed at the rear side of the diesel particulate filter in the housing, and reduces nitrogen oxide into nitrogen and oxygen.
