An image is formed only by a substantially rectangular region of the projection lens, including the central portion, with the modulated exposure light.

    • PURPOSE: A fiber module formed with an optical fiber fixed to an inner part of a package and a fabricating method thereof are provided to prevent contamination of a package due to a degassing element from a coating layer of the optical fiber and enhance the mechanical strength of the optical fiber by improving a structure of the fiber module. CONSTITUTION: A fiber module includes a package and an optical fiber. The package(1) has a sealing structure which is formed in an inside of the package. The optical fiber(5) has a cladding, first and second ends, and a predetermined length. The optical fiber is fixed to the package in such a manner that the first end of the optical fiber appears inside the package. The cladding is exposed in a vicinity of the second end. The optical fiber other than a part of the cladding in the vicinity of the second end is coated with at least one of a metal and an inorganic material.

    • Provided is a pattern forming method by which a fine pattern can be accurately formed by making a light quantity of each exposure unit uniform while suppressing cost, for exposure using a digital exposure apparatus having an exposure head wherein the exposure units are two-dimensionally distributed. The method at least includes a step wherein a photosensitive layer is irradiated with optical beams emitted from a light irradiation means, through a focusing optical system having a light distribution correcting means, and exposure is performed by irradiating the photosensitive layer with optical beams modulated by a light modulating means. In the pattern forming method, the exposure is performed by permitting light quantities of the optical beams applied on the light modulating means from the light irradiation means in an irradiation area to have distribution, and that the light quantity distribution of the optical beams modulated by the light modulating means is corrected to be uniform on the plane of the photosensitive layer to be exposed.
