    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment provided with a USB connector which prevents electronic components from destruction caused by discharging of static electricity from the outside of the device or static electricity charged on a USB plug or a human body.
      SOLUTION: An aperture 10a is formed at a portion of a housing 10 facing a USB connector 41 mounted on a circuit board 43, and at two long sides of the aperture 10a, a pair of cover members 13 is held on hinges 14 so as to be able to open and close and is forced in a direction of closing the aperture 10a by forcing members 15. The cover members 13 are formed of an electrically conductive material and grounded via the forcing members 15. In a state where a USB plug 44 is not coupled to the USB connector 41, the cover members 13 close the aperture 10a, and the USB connector 41 or the circuit board 43 is prevented from discharging static electricity from the outside of the housing 10. At connecting of the USB plug 44 to the USB connector 41, the top end and side surfaces of the USB plug 44 contact with the cover members 13, and static electricity charged on the USB plug 44 or a human body is discharged.

The second contact portion 28 is provided with an elastic contact portion elastically contactable with a fixed contact portion 28 from a side and a plug pin contact portion 42 elastically contactable with a side portion of the plug pin inserted from the hole 12.

The movable permanent magnet 5 has magnetic force, and a surface is covered with conductive metal. The movable permanent magnet 5 is housed in the recessed part 26, and is contacted with and connected to the slide contact part 11 and the contact part 16 by thee magnetic force of the movable permanent magnet 5. When installing the contact probe 30 having a magnetized central contact 31 on the coaxial connector 1, the movable permanent magnet 5 separates from the contact part 16 by both magnetic forces, and a signal passage is switched.
