    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial mount type disc brake for suppressing the deformation of a cylinder bore due to the fastening torque of a mounting bolt. SOLUTION: A caliper body 14 has a plurality of mounting holes 26 spaced from one another across the cylinder bore 31 in the rotating direction of a disc rotor and provided along a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the disc rotor and abutment faces 52 provided at the peripheral edges of the mounting holes 26 for abutting on a supporting portion 29 on a body side. At the opening position of each of the mounting holes 26 on the side of the supporting portion 29, a large diameter hole portion 54 is formed which fits a side wall face 51 of a cylindrical step portion 49 provided on the supporting portion 29 and which has a gap 57 between a front end face 50 of the cylindrical step portion 49 and itself. With respect to a shortest portion 58 connecting a center O of the cylinder bore 31 to the mounting hole 26 at the shortest distance, a center position C of the axial length of the mounting hole 26 is located outward to the radial direction of the disc rotor, in the axial direction of the mounting hole 26.
