    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller suppressing degradation in exhaust gas in a running gear for a vehicle equipped with an engine and an auxiliary machine driven by the engine. SOLUTION: The load of the auxiliary machine is reduced by an auxiliary machine control means 114 so that an EGR rate by an EGR device 64 is set to an EGR rate threshold (an EGR rate determination value) or more set based on the operating condition of the engine 8. Thereby, the EGR rate reduced according as the operation condition of the engine 8 becomes in a high load operating condition is made in the low load operating condition of the engine 8 which is set to the EGR rate threshold or more. In other words, an area where the engine 8 is made in the low load operating condition so as to secure the EGR rate threshold or more is widened, and degradation in exhaust gas is suppressed.
