    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the decrease in fuel injection pressure and deterioration in combustion performance to thereby prevent deterioration in performance of an internal combustion engine and also prevent increase of smoke dust or black smoke even when only a fuel oil is injected into a cylinder liner.SOLUTION: A fuel injection device 1 of the internal combustion engine has a fuel injection valve 10 having a valve opening pressure adjusting device 30 for adjusting valve opening pressure of a needle valve 15 by at least two to one cylinder, and is constituted so that when injecting the fuel oil and an inert substance into the cylinder liner, the fuel oil and the inert substance are injected from all the fuel injection valves 10, and when injecting only the fuel oil into the cylinder liner, the needle valve 15 of at least one of the two or more injection valves 10, is pressed by force of the valve opening pressure or more of the needle valve 15 by actuating the valve opening pressure adjusting device 30, to thereby cut off fuel injection of the fuel injection valve 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydrocarbon fuel and reformed gas from alcohol containing fuel partially mixing alcohol component in hydrocarbon fuel by a simple compact system and use the same as fuel of an internal combustion engine.
