    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a situation where tar is generated voluminously compared to normal operation of performing gasification of fuel, and to prevent the gas containing much tar from being fed to the engine.SOLUTION: The gasification apparatus is equipped with a gasification furnace 20 to gasify fuel, and a fuel feeding device 10 to feed fuel to the gasification furnace 20, and the gasification furnace 20 is equipped with an inner tube 23 to introduce fuel and air into the gasification furnace 20. The gas generated in the gasification furnace 20 is supplied to an engine generator 100 through a gas path. There are provided a detection means 25 for detecting if the low end portion of the inner tube 23 is plugged with fuel or not, and a control device 28 to stop the supply of gas to the engine generator 100 when it is determined based on a fuel detection means 25 that the low end portion of the inner tube 23 is not plugged with fuel.
