    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship equipped with a bubble type resistance reduction device in which a bubble or a gas-liquid mixed fluid is supplied from a bubble supply hole provided on a hull and the bubble is introduced into a ship bottom part to reduce frictional resistance of the hull and which can efficiently introduce the bubble supplied from the bubble supply hole into a ship bottom flat part so that a bubble supply energy can be decreased to reduce a ship resistance, and a resistance reduction method of the ship.SOLUTION: A stem bulb 3 provided at a bow part is formed of a downflow facilitation type stem bulb which improves the effect to introduce stream current at the bow part into a ship bottom part.
