SOLUTION: In the automobile seat, a coupling element 12 is designed so as to unlock locking mechanisms 50, 51 and 55 when a backrest 3 arrives at a predetermined tilting angle in being folded forward toward a seat section 2. Thus, the tilting of the backrest 3 can be changed with the seat section 2 locked by folding the backrest 3 forward to the predetermined tilting angle, and the unlocked seat section 2 can be lowered to a forward position by further folding the backrest 3 forward. A function of folding the backrest and a function of turning the seat section forward are separated from each other until an arriving time at the predetermined tilting angle. The locking mechanisms automatically operate when it arrives at the predetermined tilting angle.

SOLUTION: The fold flat vehicle seat 20 is provided with a movable track member attached with a seat collection body having a fixed track member and the seat back member 62 attached to the seat cushion member 60 so as to be forward folded, and a track lock mechanism is arranged between both members. A seat back latch is operated/engaged so as to control forward folding of the seat back member 62. A link arm 80 operated/connected between the seat back member 62 and the fixed track member is arranged such that the seat back member 62 is moved to a rear side in a longitudinal direction to a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction relative to the fixed track member when the seat back member 62 is forward folded from a usable position to the approximately horizontal load support position in the release state of the track lock mechanism.
