摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water accumulated in an intake box or the like from being sucked in an engine when an overturned hull is restored. SOLUTION: A connecting pipe 22 and an intake box 23 are arranged by spacing apart by an elevation difference (t) so that an upper edge 23i of an outlet part 23f of the intake box 23 is positioned lower in respect of a lower edge 22e of an inlet part 22d of the connecting pipe 22. With this structure, when a hull 2 is overturned and water accumulated in an engine chamber 6 in a ship flows into the intake box 23 from the inlet part 23h, the water accumulated in the intake box 23 does not flow in on the side of a connecting hose 24 on an upper position in restoring the overturned hull 2.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the engine cooling device for a planing boat, which prevents a water intake port from being clogged with foreign matter, and can feed the sufficient amount of cooling water stably to an engine. SOLUTION: In the engine cooling device for a surface planing boat where an intake port 20 is opened in the downstream of an impeller 15 for the surface planing boat which can acquire intended propulsion force by drivingly rotating the impeller with an engine operated, and water taken in out of the intake port 20 is fed to the engine for cooling the engine, a porous filter 21 is provided to the intake port 20. The provision of the porous filter 21 for the intake port 20 thereby surely prevents foreign matter such as small stones and the like with are sucked in the inside of a housing 12 by the impeller 15, by the filter 21 from being clogged, and the sufficient amount of cooling water required can thereby be fed to the engine stably.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a moving quantity of an engine on the ship's bottom side by providing a stopper of which the upper end is a pressure receiving part on the hull fitting of an engine mount interposed between the engine and the hull, and providing a pressing piece opposed to the pressure receiving part from the upper side at a prescribed interval on the engine side fitting of the engine mount. SOLUTION: An engine mount 9 is formed so that a hull side fitting 21 and an engine side fitting 22 are connected together through a cushion rubber, and by stoppers 24 provided on the hull side fitting 21 and pressing pieces 25 on the engine side fitting 22, downward movement of an engine is controlled. The engine mount 9 is fitted to a ship bottom engine seat under the condition in which through holes 21b of the hull side fitting 21 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the hull, and the stoppers 24 are positioned on the center side in the ship width direction. When such engine mount is fitted to the engine seat, the end face 24a of the stopper 24 becomes nearly horizontal, and the pressing piece 25 is opposed to the end face 24a from the upper side in the vertical direction.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an engine by suspending the engine when abnormality is detected in a temperature sensor for an exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: This device stops an engine by means of a control device 31 when abnormality is detected in a temperature sensor 24 during operation of an engine. After suspending the engine, restart thereof is prevented by the control device 31. In addition, starting of the engine is prevented when abnormality occurs at the temperature sensor 24 before starting the engine.
