摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air cooling device for a small ship capable of suppressing rising of intake air temperature due to engine heat, and as a result, preventing deterioration of engine output due to deterioration of charging efficiency without causing a problem of securing installing space and a problem of an effect by water or the like entering a hull. SOLUTION: In a water vehicle (the small ship), an engine 10 is mounted in an engine compartment 2a inside the hull 2 formed substantially watertight and ducts 11 and 12 introducing external air to the engine 10 are inserted and arranged. In the intake air cooling device for the water vehicle, a cooler 45 comprised by forming a plurality of fins 45c on a cooler body 45a having a cooling water passage 45b is arranged near an upstream side of an inlet 25c of the engine 10, and a branched cooling water pipe 46 branched from a cooling water feed pipe 40 feeding engine cooling water to the cooling water passage 45b is connected to the cooler 45.

摘要： PURPOSE:To discharge bilge-water in a boat without any deterioration in steering stability by arranging a bilge-water suction pump communicating to a bilge part in the boat and hitting a surface facing to a space outside the boat with the jet stream of the bilge-water discharged from that pump. CONSTITUTION:A bilge-water suction pump 29 is fixed on the upper surface of a boat bottom plate 24 fixed to a water jet unit 13 and on one side part of that water jet unit 13. The entrace port part of a water passage of the bilge- water suction pump 29 is communicated to the inner surface of a fixed blade dust part 19C through a communicating pipe 33. The suction pump 29 sucks the bilge-water in the bilge part 38 in the boat through a communicating pipe 37 and discharges it from the water passage through a discharge pipe 34. Thus, the bilge-water in the boat can be discharged without any deterioration of steering stability.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent thrust from instantaneously increasing in acceleration in a water injection propulsion device wherein an engine driven impeller is provided in a water injecting duct provided on a stern by providing a communicating hole for communicating the inside with the outside of the duct just in front of the impeller in a position higher than a draft level in the water injecting duct when the speed of boat is low. CONSTITUTION:A communicating hole 10 for communicating the inside with the outside of the duct 13 is provided just in front of an impeller 14 in a position higher than a draft level in a water injecting duct 13 when the speed of boat is low. This communicating hole 101 is provided by forming a notch on the topmost portion of a packing 100. In this structure, the just front portion of the impeller 14 is negative-pressurized for 1 to 1.5 seconds in a position higher than the drift level L in the duct 13 just after the engine output is started to accelerate from low speed to throttle full opened speed. Thereby, outside air is sucked from the communicating hole 101, and the thrust is restrained from its instantaneous increase. After the fixed time is passed, the negative pressure disappears, and the suction of outside air is stopped, then the device comes in a full-opened normal performance.

This air intrusion- preventing device 81 is constituted by providing an oil tank side connection port 81B on one end part of a vessel 81A and an oil pump side connection port 81C on the other end part of the vessel 81A while protruding a tubular part 81D, communicating with this connection port 81C, into a space in the vessel.

摘要： PURPOSE:To clean both the water jacket of an engine and cooling water passages in a simple manner by providing a cleaning water injection port, to which a cleaning hose is removably connected, on the halfway of the path from a water inlet port to a cooling water passage in the outside of a ship whereby fitting a plug body detachably thereto. CONSTITUTION:After use, when the water jacket of an engine is to be cleaned, the plug body 66 of a connecting member 60 is removed. Then a cleaning hose 80 is connected with a cleaning water injection port 62B via a connecting fitting 82. By the aforementioned constitution, fresh water is fed into the water jacket of the engine from the cleaning hose 80 through the cleaning water injection port 62B and a cooling water hose 56 whereby cleaning the jacket so as to be discharged out of a ship thereafter. And when the engine is in operation, water around the ship is fed to the connecting member 60 from a water inlet port 58, and then flows into the water jacket of the engine through the hose 56 because the cleaning injection port 62B is plugged with the plug body 66.
